Check out Emerald Hobbies - https://www.emeraldhobbies.com.au/
Or try eBay - some international stores get around the regional trading rules by selling stuff through there, although the current high shipping costs from the US and UK often makes this not as viable these days...

Not sure how the OZ shopmate works but with the kiwi version the onward cost works out to be cheaper than domestic shipping, I just got an order from AOG with entirely metal models weighing in at around 1.2kg and the onward shipping cost was NZ$17.75. If the OZ version is the same (and I guess it is) is often cheaper to buy from ebay and get it sent to the transport hub just for the cheaper shipping. Only thing to beware of is that you have to items sent in a cardboard box, they wont accept jiffy bags.
Edit; for any kiwi lurkers who might read this here is our version - https://www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/youshop

Thanks for that link Insaniak.
20% discount is tasty and a flat $10 shipping fee ain't bad either.

That's cheaper than my one, which was in turn cheaper than Mighty Ape.
Interesting...
