For those who don't recall Broken Contract is the miniatures game of dystopian labor rebellion! In the not-too-distant future, the forgotten man is lured off-world to start a new life in mineral exploitation courtesy of the mega corp known as FERRUM SKY. But the reality of indentured servitude in prison-like conditions has led some to break their contracts with the company. These so-called BREAKERS are being persecuted by the company's sinister out-sourced security contractor BLACK SQUADRON.

This KS funds new Breaker sculpts focusing on the kids. Plus there is a very loyal looking dog complete with prosthetic limb!

Please take a look at the KS using the link above and/or head over to the Breaker Press page for a look at the existing line of figures.

I love the concept, and the minis look like they would really fir into some other projects I'm working on, too. $43 including shipping is a bit much, though. I'll follow the project and see how it develops.

Bob check out the starter set (which is slightly discounted at the 100USD pledge level but also currently available on the store) — this is a component-heavy skirmish game but well worth it. The setting is like nothing else on the market. I would live to see a Broken Contract movie!

Thank you for sharing this Manchu! I appreciate you.

@Bob I understand the frustrations when you add shipping in, but there is a very different economy of scale between Breaker Press and other companies. We're doing runs of 30, 60, 90 miniatures at a time vs hundreds or thousands. You're also buying a product from us where everything is manufactured within 100 or so miles from where we live. The models are cast at Valiant in Madison, WI, the printing is done at DigiCopy here in Milwaukee, and the shipping container packaging we're laser cutting ourselves at the Milwaukee Maker Space. We hand assemble the shipping containers and spray paint them for shipping. We think you're getting more than 5 models in a cool box, but our more boutique approach may not be what you're into, and that's cool.

Here's some more pics:

The Kickstarter is running for 9 more days!

I can appreciate the care you put into your models. I'm just not a boutique kind of gamer. However, I'm intrigued by the setting, so I plan to get the Player's Guide for the background, and maybe Tooth Chipper #1 even though it looks like it's for a different game. They'll have to wait some as this month isn't good for me making any purchases.

I totally understand Bob. And yeah, any support you throw our way is appreciated. Player's Guide, Tooth Chipper... Whatever!

And yes, Tooth Chipper is made for the game Wild in the Streets by Slow Death Games. If you have any roots in the punk, metal, or industrial/goth scenes, you will be entertained. Plus, all of the actual rules to Wild in the Streets fit on 1 double sided sheet of paper. I would be doing Slow Death Games a disservice if I didn't mention they also have a Kickstarter running right now for their miniature agnostic skirmish sci-fi game, Star Breach. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/slowdeathgames/star-breach-soft-cover-rulebook" target="_new" rel="nofollow"> https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/slowdeathgames/star-breach-soft-cover-rulebook

I played Broken Contract at Adepticon 3 years ago, and purchased it that weekend. A good time and the tokens for things like handcuffs and the like are very helpful. BC is an excellent system for sure, and the new crew looks great. Keep up the good work (and also mad props to Star Breach / Wild in the Streets systems). Old west coast punk & metal-raised rivet head here, so I love those minis.

I had to back this. Going to run a few fun scenarios for friends in game groups, especially those with teenagers. Looking forward to painting that doggo!
