Anyone been watching LIS S2?
Im about mid way in and quite enjoying it.
Sure its definitely a bit smushy sweet in places but thats part of the charm I think. Very much a Sunday evening chill out watch.

Each episode moves along quite well, they never dwell on anything too long which is good. The whole one disaster after another does get a bit tedious however.
Interested to see how they wrap this season up with the alien robots angle and if dr smith evolves into " the good guy" after all.

I watched it. I enjoyed it as much as i enjoyed the first season. A little bit of a bummer with how long robot is missing but that is where they left it off so what you gunna do.

Looking forward to s3.

I think i wound up passing on this season, and unless I hear amazing things ITT it will stay that way.

I thought the first season was OK at best - I liked the robot, and Molly Parker is great, but a lot of the situations they found themselves in felt awfully... contrived, and then repeat, and then repeat.

I also I feel like they totally wasted Parker Posey.

If I hear people saying s2 was amazing here, of course, I would probably change my mind. I do like the premise.

I would say the situations in this season are over all better. Some weird planet stuff. Some expansion on lore of the mission. Some neat dilemas for getting out of some tight spots. Some good character growth moments for the eldest sister.

I still hate Dr Smith. Her constant betrayals for the sake of betrayal is annoying.

Also, the ship’s security team are Insanely bad at their job.

I liked Season 2, but the fact that everything always goes wrong, and everything that goes wrong compounds on the last thing that went wrong, starts to become exhausting.

There is literally no reason to keep her alive, no matter how many times they try to insist otherwise by inventing new ways for her to help solve a minor problem so she can try and kill everyone later.

I enjoy it as a HUGE change of pace from the Expanse

Its interesting and quite fun - especially since they have gone to such lengths to ensure that the main characters don't have weapons (considering one of them is Spec Ops) - interesting.

Just finished S2 last night. I enjoyed it overall, I think it was better than S1. But agree about how every episode being a life or death sky is falling problem resolved with a happy ending does get kinda old. And also Smith was starting to get annoying too. I like Parker Posey, I think if anyone else played the character I would have hated them. As in a get them off my screen cuz you suck kind of way.

Smith needs to get bit by a tripod spider and become a 10 ft tall spider monster that they kill. S3. Make it happen.

I just finished it. I concur with the whole, what disaster is going to happen this time, but in a way that had a sort of old school charm to it.

Finished it this weekend.
Overall a pretty solid 7/10.
Not entirely sure the cliff hanger was where I thought it would/should go but will find out S3 I suppose.

I like this show. I think it has a unique feel to it in the world of sci-fi because its about a family. And I like how there's so many problems. It's a roller-coaster ride and you just strap in.
