How do?
A very much light hearted thread for these troubling times. And it’s simple. Pick something, and invent a collective noun for it. Genuine collective noun examples? A Murder of Crows, A Cauldron of Bats. So many are pretty daft to begin with.
I’ll kick off.
Lego. The correct collective noun for Lego is a HOW MUCH?!? of Lego.

Collective noun for Legos? I'll propose Assembly, given their intended purpose. An Assembly of Legos. Alternatively, a "Construct" of Legos?
I'll propose Bobble Heads as the next item
|
IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.
New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts. |

A wunch of investment bankers. (This may have to be explained for the Americans, but my British compatriots would understand the "w" + ⚓ reference. An Incompetence of politicians. A hypocrisy of evangelicals.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

For the D&D fans...I submit
Noun: Hobo
Plural: Hobos
Collective Noun: Murder
Example: While walking down town, I saw a murder of hobos.

Murderhobos is a name given to a group thats first (and often only) response to a problem in RPGs is to kill it, these problems can include such things as seeing a person walking down the street or an NPC quest giver etc.

I think "stench" is much better reserved for "a stench of wargamers".

This is one we actually had to do in a Pathfinder game, when my summoner cast the most powerful summon monster spell and got 1D3 + 1 Tyrannosaurus Rexes. What do you call a plurality of T-Rexes?
We settled on "Regicide"

Sounds obvious but a "Monarchy" of T-Rexes for the plural would be cool.
How about a plural for a group of social distance ignoring idiots?

What about a plural for armies collecting dust in one's basement/game room?

For armies gathering dust I'd suggest an entropy. Somehow, even just sitting there, they seem to manage to fall apart.
