Plastic Soldier Company has a new Kickstarter campaign. Looks like there will be more spaceships, as well as some 28ish mm scale minis...and probably some rules I guess. Their last game was Richard Borg’s Red Alert Space Combat, the game with all the delightful spaceship minis Kid Kyoto posted about in the toys thread.

Not sure if I can get a picture to work, but they seem to have made the bold choice not to post a lot of pictures on their campaign page in the first place.

Hmm, I like PSC but there's not a lot of pics of the actual miniatures on their KS page.

I'll revisit it at the 48 hour mark.

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

They posted a video review by a third party—I know, I know—that had some nice views of the minis. They are plunked solidly in the middle of boardgame-miniature quality.

I'm OK with boardgame plastics, they look much better sized this time around than the Red Alert ships, which I've avoided buying mostly because they're just too big for massed starship miniatures. I'm also not keenest on the Command & Colors system. I'll need to check it out when I get home, I do like asymmetrical boardgames, love boardgames with high toy-factor, and I'm a sucker for sci-fi in general

Well, they’ve put up some more pics of their minis, including some painted ones. I tried to copy some images, but was instead apparently redirected to their google doc.
They are worth checking out.
