Been working on this for about 3 months give or take. Its...been a quest. The feeling when i got to the melee arm was confusing as one one hand i was thinking "I'm almost done, just got one arm left!" and also thinking "...thats still painting a freaking stompa worth of work...." lol

23" tall and 22" wide at the elbows, took around 9-10 rolls of filament (i totally lost track as i didnt print this in one swoop) and lots of paint. So...so much paint....

Entire body is printed at 0.2mm layer height while the head and fingers are at 0.1mm. I wanted to print the entire thing at 0.1 but even at 0.2 i had several 1.5-2 DAY long prints so i really didnt wanna make that twice as long.

This model is not created by me, i merely printed/painted it. The creator is the one and only Geargutz, who has done....i've lost count amount of STL files lol.
I did however design the gun barrels myself, the original STL has a single shot energy gun and dats not orky! Orks 'ave lots o guns not a big one!

i think i need a break now lol....

Apologies for the mediocre pictures. This thing kinda exceeds my photo box..just a bit

Resurrecting this to compliment you on the amazing work, what an absolute unit I'm shocked it's filament and not resin, quality-wise, but no doubt a good call due to scale.

I've got some Gear Guts 'nauts I'm keen to print, tho I'm so bleh at supports and GG stuff doesn't come presupports, so haven't taken the plunge as much as I'd like to. Also they are some seriously big projects for my lil' Mars Pro

EDIT: I'm bad at dates and thought this thread was a few months old, not 15 months ... Still an awesome print! Cranked out more GG since then?

Thanks for Salvaging this thread, Boss; I missed it first time round. Awesome job Vineheart. Reckon you chose the right clan - it looks top-of-the-range.

Love the kustom arm by the by, more dakka is more better

"At the point in time when bullets can pass through the interdimensional walls. When firepower takes up the entirety and eternity of space and time, all beings stuck in a neverending life and death cycle as bullets recover and destroy their bodies in quick succession. No one is able to think about anything but the sheer force of the bullets rapidly flying literally everywhere in the materium turning the warp itself into nothing but a sea of semi-automatic weaponry.. Then there will be enough dakka. Or, at least almost." -The Glorious God Emperor of Mankind

So, 10 rolls of filiment, at a cost of [something]....
That's a huge saving on what a potential Forgeworld-equivalent would have cost.
And you can print off spares and replacements if it gets damaged, or you want to change bits.

More importantly, it looks great
