Looking for a storage case for my Thousand Sons/Daemons force. Already have a couple of Battlefoam cases but can't afford to get a third.

Been looking through the KR site and there appear to be some good cases. I'm particularly interest in their aluminium ones but I don't fully understand their sizing methods. Basically I want a case big enough to fit a 2k army consisting of the following:

Ahriman
Daemon Prince
3x Exalted Sorcerers
40 32mm bases
10 40mm bases
2x Dreadnoughts (smaller box-naughts instead of the larger Helbrutes)
Defiler (although just a tray with a void would be fine for this as then it may also fit the LoC.

Does anyone have a rough idea of which cases and trays would be most appropriate?

Cheers

If you email them with your army list, they will calculate the case and foam required for you. That's what I have done the last few times I ordered from them.

KR foams are soft; so be wary if you plan to store spikey and fragile armies like drukhari, chaos; best for boxy armies like marines, IG, tau.

Their website is a bit of a mess to navigate, so email them your army list or look through foam inserts based on your models.

40 32mm bases
- F3s are for 32mm bases, and are 1/3 height. F3H holds 18 models, so get 2, or F3T for 36.
10 40mm bases
- SM48 is for 40mm models, and is 2/3 depth. It holds 15 models, and is half-width.
2x Dreadnoughts (smaller box-naughts instead of the larger Helbrutes)
- SM5P7 is 2/3 high and half-width.
Ahriman and 3x Exalted Sorcerers
- WM14 is 1/2 height and half-width, but you could get SM7P7, for 6 dreadnoughts, and they'd probably all fit in there.

Daemon Prince and Defiler (although just a tray with a void would be fine for this as then it may also fit the LoC.
- Not sure. Needs more digging.

It looks like you're need a triple-depth alu case for this lot. Try the tray fitter tool to check.

I have photos in my gallery with what I've managed to get to fit. I can get more.
