Here are some pictures of Rough Riders I've been working on. I bought actual rough rider blisters for the horses, legs, and lances, and mixed together some cadian parts to make these guys.  I'm waiting on greenstuff to fill in the gaps and a couple bitz to fill out the squad.. C+C please. Enjoy!!!

well, i like them. my only complaints are:

1)the one with a bolt pistol should be the sgt.

2)they shouldn't be brandishing both weapons at once. they seem too busy.

but like i said they're awesome.

when I was building them, I couldn't think of anything else to do w/ the other arm. I've got two more to build and was hoping that I could pick up some ideas from this thread. . Thanks for the C+C.

Well, if they're taking time to shoot, the lance is probably too heavy to just hold out in the charge position. Place the lance being held straight up, and it might look a little "less busy."

I prefer the motercycle conversion for cadian rough riders.

I used Kislev horse archer legs for my RRs, they are plain with boots and pants only, no fur. They are a great bit for Cadian RRs. I also used Heavy weapon arms (the ones for saluting or holding Binocs) for grabbing the reins.
