Hey folks, my names Owen, I've been lurking around here for many years but I will be doing some pretty big terrain builds coming up and would love to show some of the work as we go along. By day I work at a fabrication shop being a chop monkey, by night I wrestle the little demons that live in blender trying to learn their secrets . These builds will feature alot of these 3d modeled terrain bits but we will following along side the physical side of the builds. Foam, plasticard and mdf will be core to alot of the work still, but more importantly we need cool lights. Lets see what cool stuff we can bash together.

I recently posted some finished shots for my Grimdark Factory set(see sig for link) and want to use those parts to start making some tiles to play necromunda. The underhive tiles that you see people in the community make are so chock full of character, such great work. They are my favorite type of wargaming terrain. So lets make some!!!

So lets start with some classy looking buildings like this, and see what we can do.

First big debate is do I build the tiles flat on the ground or have space underneath for wiring, and in floor resin effects. Hmmm well lets just glue down some walls and see what we get

God some cool platforms made, so good start. I definitely gonna lift the base of the tiles before I get too many made. Really want to put some cool lighting in here. It's always been an area that I've shied away from. Also gonna trim in the edge of those top plates, they overhang too much. Ill show you guys some more updates soon.

I love stories of undercities. Doesn't matter the genre, you make a story about lost forgotten parts and underground warrens, I'm in. This is probably due to growing up in rural Canada, I think the idea that there are buildings old enough to be forgotten about is just so alien yet fantastic. Anyway here are some tunnels that my scummers have been exploring

Very nice, look forward to seeing more...
I too like abandoned buildings and tunnels.
The fun one are the ones that have been abandoned but still have important services (power, water, etc) running through them!

Half way through painting the next round of tiles. Trying out a variation of this color scheme; we'll see what I like better
