Subject: Looking for animal/mutant sprues/bits

Hello,
I'm working on a project that needs a mutant squad and so I'm trying to find anthropomorphic parts (animal heads, tails, arms, legs, bodies, whatever) in a good quantity, GW scale. A wargaming sort of kit would be absolutely ideal. Additionally/alternatively, mutations and mutant bits, but these need to be more biological-looking, and less aggressive than the GW parts. What I mean is, Chaos, Tyranids, etc., their parts look like they were mutated to kill. Makes sense for their purpose, of course, but I'm looking for bits that are a bit...softer? If that makes sense?
Does anyone have any good suggestions? Thank you!

Maybe start with some of the Beasts of Chaos kits? Gors, Ungors, etc.

Frostgrave has Gnolls and Snakemen in plastic. War games Atlantic makes lizardmen. They also sell a faun and centaur kit.
Your best bet might be to search for anthropomorphic animal people through Reaper’s Bones line for close-enough minis or for minis with heads that are easy to remove and reuse.

Ah, right, I should have specified. I have that/those, as well as the older Skaven kits with usable tail and head bits. I had meant stuff outside of GW, apologies. That's my fault. Nevertheless with the information I provided this was a good suggestion and I thank you for it, it's appreciated. Not bad suggestions. It's unfortunate that normal kits are so rare. Reaper's stuff is...well, rough, to say the least. Automatically Appended Next Post:
Interesting, I hadn't realized that they sold conversion bits. I'll give them a look-over, thank you.

I've used the Albedo heads to convert the Northstar Stargrave plastics. They are sized for smaller figures as opposed to current GW sizes.

Stargrave kits have some plastic animal like alien heads.

Ah, yeah, those might be a bit small for what I'm thinking, but I appreciate the pictures. They were quite helpful, thank you. Automatically Appended Next Post:
You know, I hadn't considered the KoW stuff actually, and there is some potential there. These are great suggestions, thank you!

It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass.
