Have to say, the Kharadron with the mini ship in hand is the stand out of the two.

I love dwarfs, but don't collect either army. But I SUPPOSE I'll have to pick up both of these. The mini Arkanaut is really cool, but I'm not sure about it in relation to his pose. Luckily, he has multiple hand options, which frees up that hand for future conversions...

Out of curiosity, do other squats have jewels and gems on them? He's got one on his belt and his dagger, which helps tie in with the dwarf theme more than the base LoV models do

They should have painted the ship grey...

I wonder how long before GW changes the poster boy colors for the KO? The models are so hard to look at. Too many things blend together and there isn't any focal point. Painting them like the Leagues would do wonders imo

Pins, Dice Bag, Gold Effect Dice and Gaming Utensils, all spend related.

I do like them quite a lot, although it looks like they might be modified from the normal version? Some things about the Admiral look very similar, like the hand holding the hammer.

I have no idea why he'd be holding a miniature ship, but that is a cool detail.

It's strange how that option the Kahl has isn't actually allowed in the codex, considering it only released a few weeks ago.

This is at least the 3rd time the Leagues have been shown with options they don't have rules for.

That's pretty common for "exclusive" warhammer models. Take for example the exclusive cryptek released a few years back:



And the recently released apren-tek.



I think it's probably why we get some lieutenants and other exclusive space marine models. They're much easier to recycle assets, since the armor and designs will be consistent throughout the range

Admiral's helmetless head is better of the two IMO.

Funny you mention that--my paint scheme is kabalite green and cream/ivory. Not quite the same but I think it looks better. Also painting a knee or shoulder pad or weapon the same color goes a long way.

I'm wondering if this was actually going to be the named character model of Ulthar the Destined and the Kahl kit just had three head options and could take a sword...

Very nice to have the option although I think I'll covert him to be leaning on a bit axe. In the KO one as well.

I am sure that gun will change the result of many 40k battles...

Oddly uninspired choices on both of these, so little difference to models that are already available.

I like both of the models but not as they are, keen to do some converting. I have yet to build my Kahl from the army box because I've still some ideas to plan..

That isn't new. See: The Primaris Captain with Power Fist and Plasma Pistol that was also a Store/Event exclusive.
