Task force Agastas is out soon with a new dreadnought and a bunch of new primaris. Is the dreadnought carrying the car as of a primaris mating or an old marine? It looks like the old marine dreadnought but it’s new so that makes me think primaris.

Or is the old school dreadnought an ongoing thing that takes any almost dead marine in its sarcophagus?

Seems to be a Primaris Brutalis Dreadnought.

I know it’s gauche to laugh at typos, but these ones did make me giggle. And I’ve read enough of MrFickle’s posts to be fairly confident I’m not laughing as a result of a disability, but at an autocorrect.

Edited for clarity.

It's literally a Primaris Redemptor with different weapons, muh dude.

Hope it has an option for something besides stubbers up top.

why to make a melee dread even better at shooting, when it already has outstanding shooting potential?

The stubbers are the AA "option" - it looks like Primaris aren't going to get Hunter/Stalker types. You see 1 AA weapon on the tanks/Dreads, one on one speeder, an option on the Impulsor.

The Brutalis is laying the groundwork for Primaris Furioso and Primaris Bjorn. I can't believe they're actually going to do it though:

Ulrik the Slayer: Mighty Bjorn, we now have the technology to remove you from your sarcophagus and return you to the living.
Bjorn: Great! Lets do it!
<Fade to Black>

<Fade in>
Ulrik the Slayer: Mighty Bjorn, there were complications. You have crossed the Rubicon Primaris, but we had to put you back in a sarcophagus because you would have still died.
Bjorn: I'm going back to my stasis chamber.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

Hah yeah this "melee" dread funnily enough outshoots many shooty dreads...

GW can't help but slap more and more guns.

Eventually we will get model with about 50 different guns Have fun rolling them.

I don’t want something better, I just feel that stubbers have no place in the marine armory. Even fancy AA ones. If i could just leave them off, or replace them with a stormbotler (or even something useless like smoke launchers or a no rules widgit) I’d be happy. But the fact that they are on every pic of the dread does not give me high hopes that they are optional.

There is some precedent with the CC dread having some extra close range teeth. The ironclad could take a metlagun instead of a SB/HF. I do agree that the new guy probably shoots way better then he should. Instead of the MMs he should have some CC enhancing option. Like frag assault launchers that do d3 MW on a charge. Gun up top and one on each arm would have been fine for shooting.

GW needs to learn that sometimes less is more. But that design philosophy is NOT with the primaris. Haveing a zillion types of guns does not help speed of play. <Looks at the repulsor>

I agree that heavy stubbers on a SM vehicle feels odd considering their religious attachment to bolters. It also feels very orky to me.

A close range weapon like the melta or flamer would have been better for this dreadnought, run towards the enemy, burn them, chop up what’s left with your big hands
