I'm sure this hasn't been the first time the subject has been discussed on dakka. The general vibe I get from the dakka forum policy is to "open a new topic", now while I have an indifferent opinon on the arbitrary line of what's considered necro (which is another topic) I'm not looking back or doing a search, as I'm pretty sure another topic is not active. Therefore I feel this one deserves another chance: So are we alone? are you with me?

I don’t think there’s anything else to say on the original topic until (unless) some new information comes out.

I think the question is incredibly huge. It's something people ask everyday. To think we summed it up in a short lived topic is well, just the level of interest people have it in it I guess.

That said all off topic bickering should have been nixed, and the topic left for those who want to discuss it.

That topic got hijacked and run into bad places. Most of those threads do. I blocked at least one person because of that thread.
