Which units would be winners and losers in the new lists, in general and compared to previous editions?
For example: In Warriors of Chaos, it seems like it's Forsaken's time in the sun, while Warriors are in a more uncomfortable spot this edition.
What have you noticed?

I actually really liked Forsaken in 8th. 6" move was a fun surprise for people that weren't used to them. They were decent models as well, the 'Eavy Metal paint job didn't do a great job of selling them, IMO.
Why yes, I am unreasonably excited about buying more of them if WoC actually get a TOW release before I die of old age...

Beasts of Chaos:
Winners - Razorgors, actually a mini-chariot, very flexible.
Losers - Bestigors, if they had halberd instead of great weapons they would be the best unit of the roster. With GW they are the worst sadly. Just because the detail of the weapon loadout.
Warriors of Chaos:
Losers - none really, Chaos Warriors are still good as an anvil. But not that good as a hammer.
Winners - Marauders (super flexible), Forsaken (they can have the role of Chaos Warriors[anvil] or even Chosen[hammer], in a core slot).

Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

Tomb kings losers are just units who's roles are done better by other units.
Archers and spear cavalry are supplanted by skirmishers and...well bow cavalry/chariots/necroknights/necro serpents/whatever. Sepulchral stalkers also kinda only have play in mort cult with terrors below.
Rest of the list is pretty awesome now.

Not sure about previous editions, because I only played Empire in 8th, but for Brets it looks like Peg Knights are a big winner, while Questing Knights are the loser.

Wood Elves:
Winners (apart from the dragon lord): Sisters of the Thorn seem pretty good for being light cavalry javelins who are also get a spell of your choice, on top of having a plain 4+ ward which is quite rare now.
Losers: Waywatchers, having to pay a hero tax, but even if they didn't, don't seem to add that much over regular scouts while taking up a rare slot.

Ogre Kingdoms:
Winners - Maneaters. 4 strength 5 attacks at a small frontage with 3 wounds. Option to go to 5 attack with a 4+ armour save. Also option to go for shooting or great weapons.
Losers - Leadbelchers. 41 points for a choice of 2 shots: BS 3 doing only D3 STR 3 when it already hits, is extremely expensive.
The STR 5 shot with -2AP with multiple wound(2) could be interesting at 41 points. Except that it's also at BS 3. Being cumbersome doesn't help at that.

High Elves: No big losers, really; mages and Sword Masters are a little less impressive than they were last edition, but in terms of how this edition works both are still perfectly serviceable. Dragon Princes and dragon characters seem to be the big winners.
