As I have basically finished the army in my Eldar PLog and figured I would show the painted models here. I actually stripped and repainted all of these models from their scheme when I acquired them.

90's style Eldar paint jobs.

Then best.

Love the colour transitions on the Avatar from red to yellow, very smooth.

Thank you for the comments.Lots more to come.

Next is the original Farseer model. Being young and foolish I converted him and replaced his pointing had with a Shuriken pistol. I think there was a spear for a while, but it make the figure even more out of place. Over the last few years I have been trying to find an original figure to replace this one, but the prices have been too high to justify the change. I think a plastic right had with no weapon might work, I just do not have one.

Then the next version of Farseer with a spear. Always finicky, I have pinned it with a brass rod to stop it breaking off.

CB

They look great. Nice colours. It is testament to the original sculpts that they still hold up today when compared to the amazing new sculpts.

If I can make a crit. The photos would look way better if you took the picture on a neutral background. Dark grey or something. Let the colours of the mini shine, not the background.

Cheers

Love these so far, keep them coming!

… any chance you can ditch the blue background and use black instead?

Thank you for the comments. And the suggestion, I think it is a good one.

Ok, it may take me a while to take photos with a black background…my cheep light box does no have that option. I was wondering if that was why my figures seem to have had colour changes.
In the meantime, a picture of a converted Farseer. This one was missing the weapon hand and spear. So I used a weapon and some wings from a bag of loose bits from eBay and here is Farseer with Faolchu's Wing
