Personally I saw no real problem with the name Goonhammer. It was catchy. I get that there are negative connotations with "gooning" and all that (stupid perverts ruining things for everyone else, grrr), but the name had a certain ring to it. When I first saw the name change, I had to check the date and make sure it wasn't April 1st. Sadly, no.

I'm not sure I can think of another name that would be as catchy.

"Beardy Gamer" could be video games, card games, whatever.

Tabletop Battles is painfully generic, but it also does what it says on the tin.
