Guardsman with Flashlight

I did a search but came up with nothing conclusive, so, last resort, I post.
Has anyone found a line of pikemen that won't look awful standing next to GW figures on the table top that they would care to disclose the location of?

Hi there are two options. Firstly buy standard Plastic Empire spearmen. Pin vice the hands and use medium thickness modelling rod to create the pikes. Its actually very easy and not too costly. Second go to the dogs of war catalogue and order the dogs of war pikemen, bit more expensive but no modelling work what so ever.

Pretty much thats your only options, outside of using regular figs from other companies.

Yeah I considered that.
I probably should've been more detailed in my question.
The DoW options aren't awful, but at their current price of $5.00 per head a nice phalanx will cost me $200.00. I figured there may be something more historical and cheaper somewhere, as there are for most things.
Course I've been out of the game for a while so all the prices I saw on the gw-store made me nauseous.

Try Foundry miniatures. They make the figs for Warhammer Ancients.

I've seen the Reaper Exarch with both weapon options and both look like things you can buy in sex shops. A weapon should not look like this, not even a Emperor's Children weapon. -Symbio Joe |
