But no energy to try again. What do you do?

1) Shelve it.
2) Repurchase
3) Strip it
4) Paint over it
5) Finish the fugly
6) Base an entire army off of the fugly.

Strip it and re-paint it usually. If I have no energy, I may shelve it for a while and come back later.

I hate making signatures:
Mainly because my sense of humor is as bad as my skill at this game.

Nice, Ki.

I'd shelve it, and strip it if you've good luck with that.

Repurchase of you don't.

You forgot: sell it on ebay as "propainted" or "well painted". The nerve of some ebay sellers is amazing. Nothing like strolling through auctions of rad armies that are barely basecoated to Rogue Trader standard with way too much static grass and unpainted bases...lol.

Serriously. Everything is "pro painted" to these guys, so when I try to hawk my obviously superior paintjob as "Painted to a good quality" nobody bites.

Standing outside Jester's house demanding the things he took from my underwear drawer.

I keep them as is and don't strip it until I'm ready to repaint.

I've seen the Reaper Exarch with both weapon options and both look like things you can buy in sex shops. A weapon should not look like this, not even a Emperor's Children weapon. -Symbio Joe

Since finding a good method for stripping my minis, many have been bathed and renewed .

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time...

Bust a pic of the one you call fugly and we'll judge it, not you.

Hehe, already working on it. I went with the "screw the fugly, full
speed ahead!" and varnished the thing. And I'm already planning my
Circle Orboros around the idea of the "Hulk! Smash!" color theme.

So I'm waiting for the varnish to dry before I snap pics.
