so someone said to me - hey for first time GS you're not too bad... then someone else said, you should try get sharper edges with your GS...

anyone have any suggestions on how to "get sharper edges with GS"???

Depends on what you're doing...I'd say use the flat of an xacto blade.

well if I cant get sharp edges, I usually wait for it to dry and then cut it up with a x-knife.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

generally, brown stuff and milliput work much better for getting sharp edges.
