Why I Started This Army
First, I liked the idea of an all-deep striking army. I always wanted to put together an Drop Troops army, both from the WD rules, or the FW rules, but never had the time and/or money to do so. Then Daemons came along, and through careful budgeting and savvy trades, I had the models. As for time, I'd wanted to experiment with some army speed painting techniques I'd picked up along the way. I'd used them on a unit level, but never for a full army.
My Eldar were coming along extremely slowly, but I really wanted to take a new army to the Chicago GT in 2008, so I decided to speed-paint this Daemon army. I'm quite pleased with the result.
