Why I Started This Army
I originally started this army back in 2003 when the models were first released. The intent was to take a pure GK army to the Seattle GT that year. Unfortunately for me, just 2 weeks after I finished painting the entire army (16 GKT's, 12 GK's, and 2 Dreadnoughts), the article with Ork clans came out and I just had to finish my pure biker, stormboy, and buggy army. The GK's have since languished with a 5 year old paint job until after moving my Tyranid army around last weekend and taking a major comp hit at the Broadside Bash I decided I'd like to finish my games and play a very challenging force mix. That being said I've decided on just 2 Landraiders w/a heavy force of purely foot PAGK's and 2 Psycannon platforms in the form of GKT squads. I'm having far more fun painting this army than any army I can recently remember and soon will have them ready for the SoCal Slaughter Indy GT. I'll be posting pictures shortly of the completed units.
