More of a "every model that I have painted for the Marine Company" as opposed to "a 1500 pt force" sorta thing.

Why I Started This Army

As for WHY?? Well.. I used to be in 40K in the late 2nd ed, early 3rd edition days.. and ended up selling off my models when times got tight. Last year I saw the astounding Ork Models in a gaming store, and slowly was sucked back in. Found a good deal on eBay for some unbuilt marines, and toppled into the abyss.

As for the name and chapter.. I like the colors Black and Purple.. and they happen to be colors from a series of books by Robert Asprin.. the Phule's Company series. In those books, the Space Legion shuffles their non-conformist thinkers and discipline issue soldiers into an "Omega Company" of screwups.. I decided that the Emporer's Finest needed a dumping ground for free thinking SM.. and so my Omega Marines were born. Being a company of rugged individualists who cannot stick to plans.. really matches my dice rolling skills..
