While collecting your Searforge Commission army, you will see use out of certain models again and again. After Starting with the Searforge Commission, use the following models to expand for any Searforge Commission Charter Army, the Rhulic Mercenaries of the Iron Kingdoms.
What to Order
Bash Em' Up
Ghordson Basher

A Ghordson Basher puts some board control into your slow moving army. While the extra deployment for the contract force helps a little in the mobility department, an army of sort legged SPD 4 models gets some help from counterslams.
Tune Em' Up
Thor Steinhammer

Thor Steinhammer helps you run your 'jacks. Whether armed with gunbunnies or with Drillers, Pronto and Tune Up makes his warjacks faster and more effective.
Moving Screen
Hammerfall High Shield Gun Corps Unit

- PIP 41023 (buy one box for a minimum sized unit)
- PIP 41024 (Buy two blisters to fill out the unit)
The Searforge Commission grants the High Shields extra deployment and the Advance Move Ability, putting them far enough forward in a searforge list to make good use out of a Shield Wall Order and providing the backfield LOS and offense with the Ranked Attack Ability.
Hammer Time
Horgenhold Forge Guard

- PIP 41067 (Buy a box for a minimum sized unit)
- PIP 41068 (buy two blisters to fill out the unit)
Forge Guard serve as your infantry screen beat sticks or counter-chargers. With the Defensive Line Ability, Reach Ability, and the ability to critically slam their targets, their only downfall is their low SPD, and some of the contract's deployment bonus helps mitigate that.
Bodyguards Galore
Ogrun Bokur

The FA is expanded for all non-character solos and units. Protect your officers, warcasters and characters with the Shield Guard Ability. You can even keep multiple Bokurs around a single target since Shield Guard isn't tied to a Bokur's Client Bonus.
Conclusion
Familiarize yourself with these Searforge Commission tools, and you'll find a place for at least some of these models in many of your Searforge Commssion armies.
