Why I Started This Army

This army was bequested to my by a good friend, who had picked up the original Beakie box set back in 1989. He had full fluff and rosters worked out, but completed only a handfull of minis when his life changed and they got put back in the (original) box and put on a shelf in the basement, not to be seen for another fifteen years. I have picked up the torch so-to-speak, and wanted to bring his vision to life, to pay him honor and finish his (tiny soldier) dream. It's been very hard to map his concepts... from first/second ed., into a viable fourth (damn, no, try again), fifth ed. army list, as many of the characters and options didn't exist at the time. I've started this article to help me document my progress. Thank you for your attention.
