Well, It's a crappy pic, but it was taken on the fly and it shows a bit of what I am going for with my Inquisitorial themed Army using Deathwing rules.

I took the apothecary bits from the command squad and used every thing except one scanner on the backpack. The apothecary version of the Caduceus was shaved off of the back pack and replaced the iconography on the Assault terminator groin gaurd.

The iron halo was slightly modified, but otherwise was simply glued to the terminator hood. The cables on the reductor was replaced with plastruct plastic. The Corvus helmet had the scanner on its left side shaved off, in order to fit inside the hood.

So you're assembling and then shipping them off to China to get painted?

I'm a fan. the helmet looks really good. Is that the standard apothecary hand or a power fist with added bits?

Not so sure about the positioning of the lights, though. Would his head not get in the way?

I was thinking of doing something similar as well with my impending deathwing project. They'd all count as regular terminators, but look like old style command squad guys.

That is one of the coolest custom jobs I've seen in a while. Two thumbs up!

I am little biased towards Corvis helmets though, I want to build an army of MkVI Armoured Marines.

Can't wait to see more of your army (Painted would be good too)

It's eery how similar our Apothecaries are.  Mine was more a stright kit-bash of the Apothecary and Terminator models.  I didn't put wires onto the arm of mine, nor the chest-sized crotch protecter  because I wanted to leave most of the "bling" on the commander.  I put the Caduceus on the left leg of my model.  Had to file it down quite a bit.  Assuming I figure out how to take a decent picture with my digital camera, I'll try to post a pic or two.  No promises though.

Thats cool stuff, so can they take "Termi" armor?

Fun! I'm usually not a fan of the corvus helmet on termie armor, but it works in this case. Can't wait to see it painted up.

Usual Apothecary colors, or no?

Looks real good but there seems to be a small gap between the helm and the body. I would like to see it when you have it painted up.

Under the current rules... no.  But I've never let stuff like that stop me from a great conversion and neither should you.  If you want to us it in a game, just talk it over with your opponent first so he's clear on what you're doing.  Also, if you like converting stuff that doesn't keep with the rules, try not to play with opponents who have a stick up their rear ends, they take all the fun out of things.

Incorrect. Deathwing CAN take apothecarys (and techmarines and standard bearers) in terminator armor.

Wrong, Deathwing can't. In the updated Faq's it says to ignore the Deathwing Terminator command squad and use the one in Codex Spacemarines....which can't have Apothecaries.........

Characters in termi armour can only take termi command squads, so buying a command squad and upgrading them with Termi honours this termi armour is not allowed..........And I don't believe a model in power armour can lead a retinue with termi armour.........

ok simply both of you are wrong. in a way.

sticking to tradition the Deathwing don't allow anyone other than the highest ranking techmarine dude into the inner circle, the practically hate them cause of the whole tech god bs.

2nd. unless the codex says otherwise im sticking to having an apothecary in my command squad regardless of the faq's. until i hear it in a WD its still legit to have apoth and std bearer in my command squad with belail....

just remembered this last night. belail and 5 terminators, all with twin lighting claws, on the charge, get something like 25ish attacks, plus, shove them in a LR crusader and you got yourself death in a plastic tank kick arse.

Deathwing Apothecaries can take Terminator armor. If some FAQ says otherwise, and your opponent doesn't want to face a Term Apoth, then print out the FAQ and ignite it in your opponent's face. GW doesn't need to shaft the DA anymore than they already have.
