Subject: Unusual Necron Scheme- Nuke Arts Commission
Here's a project we at Nuke Arts really wanted to show to you, a FULL Necron Army complete with tournament display board, objectives and magnetized weapon options. Unusual schemes are something Nuke Arts love to play about with: our main goal is that you guys are 100% happy with the work we do..... Okay I admit it we also have a lot of fun while doing it!
I'll be bringing you each force organization slot of the army in each update, so get commenting and let us know what you think! (Play nice )
Video Overview of the whole army
HQ
Imhotek the Stormlord himself lead's this merry band of glowing gauss epicness
Here he is in his ride:
Overlord's share control over this army: these models are used as both Overlords and Lords dependant on requirement.
Note the subtle glow effect on the first's face from his resurrection orb. It's pretty and useful: ensuring those Necron's just won't stay down.....
Those who play together, stay together......
Finally no Necron player leaves home without a band of Crypteks up to no good...
So let me know what slot you want to see next guys!

i like this man, any tips you would be willing to pass on to achieve the vibrant green.
Wherever and whenever they appear they leave only destruction in their wake; they are the Lords of Death, Bringers of War. The Dark Angels.
Oh, you think the darkness is your ally, but you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!- Helen Keller

No offence, but i dont understand the worn look necrons. It makes no sense, they are made from a near indestructible metalliod, can reanimate them selves, but still get rust?

looks better than the prissy look we got enough of that on the ponce elves

Johnno while in statis sleep they are looked after by various canoptek spiders and such.... perhaps this is what happens if they have no spiders looking after them?
Each to their own though... if you check out our studio project log we have some more traditional necrons coming up soon!
Looks amazing, the glow really rounds out the scheme

Thanks, i have always loved the non-traditional color schemes, my menoth in warmachine is shadow grey and red trim. So you guys really show what i love without any of the mistakes that i make.

Normally I really like Nuke's stuff, but I think these just don't work for me. I can't tell what the color scheme is intended to represent. (Plastic? Infected flesh? Ceramic?) What matters most is that the customer is happy, of course (since they paid for it, I didn't) but I just don't get this color pattern. This isn't a shot at Nuke's ability, since I've seen some really amazing stuff, but these guys just aren't my personal cup of tea.
Thanks guys!
Sorry about that Jim, we just have to remember that sometimes Nuke has to paint within a level limit (depending on amount paid) and to the customer's order! It's meant to represent rusted/battledamage ceramite. There's alot of stuff still to be uploaded here on dakka dakka in the next few weeks so drop by those threads and hopefully you'll see something more to your taste!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Twin Linked Tesla Destructors.... I love that the inner rims on your Doom Scythe glows. I considered doing mine that way but went with the traditional metallic.
