Hey everyone, I've been working on a SM battle company for about a month now. The goal is to have everything painted by Thanksgiving.
The color scheme is Iron Warriors. Currently I am using only 3 colours and aiming for tabletop quality, I will pick up some more paints next time I'm at my FLGS.

By the end of this I will definitely finish:
Captain and Command Squad
Biker Chaplain
Jump Libby
2x Assault Squads
6x Tactical Squads
2x Dev Squads
1 Drednought
1 Predator
8 Rhinos
And if time permits:
3x Land Speeders
5x Bikes
3 more Dreadnoughts
2x Techmarines
1x Land Raider
50+ Terminators
+ other stuff

You'll notice some guys are missing pieces. I got a great deal on these guys on ebay, and am purchasing the missing bits as I can.
The paint quality will improve as I add more detail. The picture quality I can't do much about, sorry.

Bolters combined with Plasma Pistols and I'm guessing flamer bits? Good enough job and cost effective, they'll look good on the tabletop but wouldn't expect them to win any conversion contests :p Keep up the good work! This actually makes me want to finish the 12th company... Nah that's pretty expensive because my 12th company is 100 Assault Marines ._.

Well if 'Nids aren't out in January that's going to be happening! Also I'll be getting a job in a few months [hopefully] so I'll be able to waste all of my money on Warhammer and Steam Sales.

I kept wondering why you have 80 marines in a company and I just now realized I skipped over the ASM when looking at the pics. I feel stupid and also relieved that you have an ASM squad, too bad you can't have them as troops ;p

It's great, I have 6k of Space Marines and those are my only ASM. Not even my Blood Angles have ASM, though I'll fix that eventually...
I think I may make myself a Thunderfire or two. What to use...

A black wash in your case would work perfectly. I wouldn't wash the caution stripes with black, maybe a brown (agrax earth shade). After the black wash you can hit the model again with more bolt gun metal to grant a brighter surface for relatively low amount of work. Same can be applied to the stripes. If you are interested in trying out weather powders, you can pm me and we can set up that.

I'm hoping to make it to town this upcoming weekend to get some more paints, I'll be getting a black wash then. That grey wash might be nice for vehicles though.

Anyways, here's the last tactical squad. All the infantry are now finished, just need 3 Rhinos and a Chaplain painted.
