He's too cool to rely on weapons They'll be sheathed on the belt.
Due to the poses all the miniatures have different height, but they are modeled to represent difference between character not only in height but also in body shape. So yes, if they'd all stand tall you'd see the difference.

The new sculpts look great. I can't wait for the last Turtle to be finished and added to the store. I'm planning on buying all 4 at once and painting them up for my brother. A scenic base for them would be perfect. The Aztec Marine looks like he's carved out of stone. Perfect in my opinion.

Sadly my planning ain't that flawless =\ But I'm learning... Looking at how good Raph is coming out I already want to remake Donny... but some other time.

@ ephrael
Thank you and welcome! We already working on a fitting themed base for them and I'm exploring possibilities for a scenic display.

@ LDD
Sculptors much more experienced than me state that static poses are challenging, so I took a risk here, but I believe I'm doing fine and it helps to bring out his character in many ways.
The "rat" ain't going to happen any time soon I'm afraid =\

More pics later!

Personally I think that this is my best job so far on the side of posing and character design. Raph always been my least favourite turtle, but working on this sculpt I tried to make it the way I could like him, just as with Aztec. As the result there is less of Nick's show and more of me in it, and I hope I succeeded, 'cuz I really do like this version I made. He's strong, menacing and cool but you can feel (I hope ) that he can burst with anger any second...

That is AWESOME!!!!!!! you have achieved your vision perfectly, reminds me of those old Japanese movies where the hero stands staring into the beyond just before kicking ass.

The pose is strong and powerful and the movement created by his head band ends is brilliant

Great work, Storag. Very good sculpting and pose.

and nice to hear that you have made them all individuals beyond pose and weapons.

Thanks mate, I'm very glad that you've got that old J-film feel, because the original TMNT comic was following Frank Miller's "Ronin" comics visuals closely and capturing that in a mini means I did everything right. Take look:

@ Dr H
Thanks! I don't know how anyone can still like the idea of 4 clones, but some do =\. Not me though So' mine are every way different, I hope this well be obvious when I put them all together on a scenic display...

Totally mate the stance brought it straight to mind, so now you can tick the box as well and individuality is a necessity with minis so well done again

Thx pal =) Will keep improving!

@ WP
I'd love too, they need some adversaries after all

Now I want to share a little life story guys.
Yesterday was a strange day. I got an invitation from ArtStation - a new social platform for artists, much like Deviantart. So I set up my profile with some works and moved on. After a while I got a notification mail about a comment to my art, I went to check and there was a positive comment on my Donny dio, and not from just anybody but from Hector Moran -an author of mamy Soda Pops miniatures as well as some from the Kingdom Death line.
As if it wasn't enough, a bit later I checked my Deviantart profile and there was a message from Patric Masson aka the Small (the guy who makes awesome minis for CMON, Dark Age and many others) saying: "your work is really good already, just continue"...
That was very inspiring and that was first feedback from established professionals I ever got, besides Brother Vinnie, who, with all due respect, ain't much of a critique
So now I'm a little happy panda, ready to work harder then ever

holy sh...!
now it seems there is a landslide building up to get your talent recognised...who knows where these comments might lead to...once some big guns have set their eyes on you there might be a new brighter future in golden chains strapped to a golden desk be in it for you ...

ralph looks amazing... he is a leader figure...cause you made him this way! he stands tall like an impregnable tower...a true centre piece...and as modern leaders do he sends his brothers first into the action and then joins them...all this I think tells us his stance...

as for redoing Donnie...I think making multiple models of the characters makes totally sense for me... I am thinking here the classic schleich smurfs... they did so many different versions of the different characters and still collecters regularly get themselves a new one...there is always room for another one^^

congratz again for that well deserved attention!!!

Don't mention smurfs when I was a kid in Germany I had loads of the original smurfs, then we moved back to the UK and the Removals lost some of our boxes which included my smurfs I was not impressed

That sculpt while pretty static conveys so much, the stance, the crossed arms the expression on his face, the wind blowing his bandana. Like he is observing a scene and making a decision as the wind blown bandana ends makes for some movement to the model. Very nice work indeed!

Oh Roy, it's such a shame ... I've lost my whole LEGO collection in a similar manner... I think each of us has it's own share of painfull losses...

But we will survive! And hoard moar and moar cool stuff! You've just gave me an idea for a mini, actually...

@ Vik
Thanks mate, your totally right on this I think

@ shaso
Thanks! Now i'm struggling with the scenic display...

Speaking of scenery...
I'd like to tell about an interesting Kickstarter campaign just started. It's a set of modular tile based terrain, suitable for many gaming systems. Rather interesting idea and style imo. Considering backing it.

Yeah, I'm already thinking of a sewer themed set I could make for it.... you know, just for the sake of having a little sewer on my table... nothing to do with any of my works...

@ jah-josh
Sharing this kind of excitement is priceless imo, it's something that made me stick to this hobby at the first place, thx for sharing it with me pal!

OK my order turned up today those heads are great really like what you did with those some nice detail crammed into a small space.

Now down to Mr Aztec holy crap dude this is awesome the pictures don't do it justice there is so much going on in this model I don't know where to start

All the cast are crisp and clean as normal and no blemishes or bubbles could be found top job all round.

Great work Storag

Also thanks for the extras nice shoulder pads they would be a great market seller, I like the style and shaping should make for some interesting uses.

Nice set of legs as well and don't think I don't know what you are doing each time I place an order I get part of the jigsaw, this is going to take some time to build a unit this way

Yeah, there was a hex based "Heroscape" system and this one is very much similar in structure, but detailed and diverse thx to the interchangeable top sections. I personally wish to order a base set and make my own themed "covers" and objects for it.

@ LDD
That was fast
Glad you like all the stuff! You have quite some of our models to make up for a review or something alike, so if you ever have time we'd appreciate

The idea was about some smurf crossover =)
