Lovely stuff here, Thraxas. You've really nailed it with the eye lenses, and I really like the xenophase blade.

Have made progress with another two ROB boards done, meaning that I now have a fully painted 4 by 4 gaming board:

As a fan of NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling) I get a kick out of this:

The Deathwatch make planet fall to "investigate" a Xenos site:

Thanks for looking.

Have managed to finish off Watch Captain Artemis, I am a big fan of this miniature:

Here he is with his friends:

As ever, thanks for looking. I am also sad to announce that I had a delivery of more Deathwatch this morning. Namely 2 Kill teams, a terminator squad, terminator captain and whatever the other HQ is called. It is a hard life.

I certainly am AOV, I am also considering a foot slogging kill team all armed with Lightning Claws just for fun. I certainly plan an all shotgun wielding team as well.

@Para: Thanks mate, I am pretty happy with him and was worried that the photographs did not do him justice. Such a cool miniature.

Had a nice day yesterday constructing a few Deathwatch characters, two more Kill teams and some Terminators. I think I will get another Kill team to round my squads off as:

Squad with bolters and power weapons.
Heavy weapon squad.
Special weapon squad (grav?Melta? plasma?)
and my favourites the shotgun squad.

Here are the Watch Captain and Terminator Captain:

Just a simple head swap on the Termy captain:

Terminator Squad:

I kitbashed a couple of meltafists, the chainfist arms are perfect for this, add in a melta pistol/combi melta bit and you are golden:

My shotgun squad, the sgt has a power fist to deal with any troublemakers:

Infernus heavy bolter and frag cannon:

I used the sternguard sprue to make a heavy flamer:

Finally a stalker pattern bolter and a grav gun using betrayal at calth mk IV arms:

I just have to finish off one last ROB tile for the tale of painters this month, so I had better get to it. Thanks for looking.

Got the Shattered Dominion Realm Of Battle board done, am very happy with it overall:

Of course it is not truly complete until some terrain and painted miniatures is on it, so here a combined Deathwatch, Blood Angel and Assassin army face an Alpha Legion force fresh from the Eye Of Terror:

I am just 4 miniatures off 200 for the year so I hope to get those done in a few days, no idea which ones though. Who knows where the muse may take me.

Thanks for looking.

Very cool. The DearhWatch shotguns look super cool.

Excellent work on the table too, it looks great, and all the better with some awesome minis on.

To answer your question, I did once start a plog, but haven't updated it for at least a couple of years. I'm tempted to take another stab at a plog as I'm taking part in a Tale of Many Gamers at my local club, so I've just started a KDK amy and will be finishing the first 500 pts this week.

Thank you very much gents, I am quite surprised at how the 40k stuff fits in with the board, the next project is to find a permanent home for it and to get some more terrain for it. I have a Garden of More to paint up but some more trees and future based stuff is certainly on the horizon.

@EDC: Go for it, a Tale of Gamers project should be a great motivator.

Thank you Warboss Dakka, I am very happy with it. Made a bit more Deathwatch progress today, in the form of Deathwatch Terminator Captain Sabrael of the Blood Angels. He is the stock miniature with the BA type head from the Kill team sprue. I have wanted to paint this miniature for ages, and luckily you no longer have to go the £40+ ebay route to get one.

As ever, thanks for looking.

Cheers gents, am currently working on the Watch master, it is then onto the SLAUGHTERBLADE PRIESTMODE or some Deathwatch Terminators, am a bit gutted though as I have just found a spare Termie weapon sprue so could have added another assault cannon and more meltafists to the squad.

As for those Terminators, hack the arms off! More Assault Cannons the better!

So much goodness! The Deathwatch look awesome to a man. Even looking at the unpainted builds they look cool - and so the painted ones really rock. The RoB board looks great, and going back a little the finished AoS starter factions looked fantastic as well. You've really been on fire lately!

Good to see you back for a bit Az, and some very kind words. Hope you feel better and are back in the swing of things as soon as possible. Thanks Lord Borak, good forum name as well (I assume it is not your birth one?).

Got my Watch Master Leonarex Coragus of the Ultramarines painted up. I am very happy with him but the photos are a bit poor and do not really do him justice, that happens sometimes. But here he is:

Cheers.
