Oh man... those models are sick...

Though, this might just be me. The hair on the Satyr, is it supposed to be glossy? Because it really stands out against the flatter colors on the rest of the model.

But I am no judge, there are things you do with a brush that I could only hope to do. Believe me, you don't want to see me with an airbrush

No the hair is not suppose to be glossy. That's why it says 'WIP' ( Work In Progress ) next to it. So you will see that there are parts of the model that are unfinished.

But yeah I totally airbrushed hacked the paint job

Speaking of Gloss, what brand of gloss do you use for the airbrush? Also, have you ever had mishaps with it like you would with a spraycan? Cloudy, grainy etc? If so, is it about the same risk as a spraycan, or far less likey?

MAD MAX Car Finished!

One of my favorite blogs, Massive Voodoo, is having a contest that ends April 15th. And the idea was to think of yourself in the MM world and what your job/car would be. So the following is the outline of my entry.

Entry:

This is my entry, the Black Pearl. Based off of the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. The Black Pearl was the fastest ship in the movie and could not be outrun.

Model: 1:32 Revell- '07 Shelby GT500 (Ford Mustang)

In the future I imagine myself being leader of a gang called the Pirates. My vehicle is a stolen MFP Pursuit car (MFP on each door with red paint over it and rear diamond plate says PURSUIT with red paint over it). Pirate stencils are seen in red on the doors and the hood complete with overspray (skull with cross swords). The car has been through a couple of road bumps and shows hasty repair.

That car... Is win.. A great job as always

Can you give us a link to the massive voodoo blog. Would love to see what else peeps come up with.

With the placement of a gunshot-hole on the name plate it now looks like it says "the black pear"....doesn't have quite the same ring to it...
