Just phenomenal egg. The heat stress on that barrel looks so good. Lovely rich yellows as well. That biker proves you are the master of blood Angels, with such rich and dramatic contrast on the red!

Thanks San!

Posting some WIP shots of my six bikers for my SM intro list. Basically a lib conclave all with power axes and a grav bike squad. Still some details left to paint such as the lib heads and shoulder pad iconography but getting close. These guys were tough considering all the small details on every single model...

Nasty unit there. Nicely painted though.

Nice to see BA after so long! Not that the Titan wasn't nice, but it wasn't really Eggroll without the space vamps.

Cheers whalemusic! The titan was a nice way to get back into it but yes, painting space vamps is what I do best

Great stuff man, and so fast too! They all look great but I love the angle and pose of the first guy with the graviton gun. So dynamic. So... What's next?

The Blood Angels are very dark but I like them a lot.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Lovely stuff, man. I am definitely building up a hunger to get painting again myself! Thanks for holding up such a consistently high standard (and dedication to the Angels of Baal) for the rest of us. I came in here to Dakka (where your thread is one of my "Exalted" ones so I can easily find it) seeking some inspiration, and that's just what I've found.

Thanks!

5000 pts High Elves 4000 pts, Warriors of Chaos 4000 pts, Dwarfs 3000 pts, Wood Elves and Greenskins too

Thanks pantheralegionnaire - definitely appreciate the long time followers I've got a lot planned for my BA army, especially after starting up a dedicated blog now for them. I plan on expanding the force with 30k models and adding an ad mech component. Hope to give readers here plenty of more inspiration in the coming months.

Quick city update: been busy working on a dev and tac squad for a total of 20 guys. Most of the bodies are finished with the exception of some details. Just need to finish those off along with their heads and then it'll be onto the next guys...

Looking good, can't wait to see them done! In terms of hours, any idea how long a 10-man squad like that would take you?

I think from start to finish a single infantry model takes about 2 hours so for the 20 man squad that you see there will take about 40 hours in total.
