Rather than a new Ko Dali, they could just give ISS or Yu Jing another character with a different name and a different backstory similar to what was done with Izzat Beg and Kaysim Beg. That way, people can still use their old model as a perfect proxy. Hell, they could even do a Dire Foes with an ISS figure representing Yu Jing this time around. Dire Foes works as a great way to introduce interesting alternative personalities that don't have a tremendous impact on the storyline while still having a model that suits a nice proxy for generic troopers.

I really don't know why Izzat Beg got replaced, but in a way, I rather like the idea. Nobody is immortal. Even as an Aleph player I was hoping that Achilles would die and be replaced ever since the Skeskiin bio-scan rumors floated about.

Please, a Chinese character, not a Toaster, not a Japanese traitor, a Chinese character, or Mongolian, or Korean, or from any minority or majority that's not Japanese, resurrect Ko Dali's dad and send him to hunt her down (as a IS dire foe if possible), create someone new, anyone, Yu Jing needs heros.

Eying that Squalo, I'm starting to wonder if one couldn't hack up the left arm a bit, and pull the right arm closer to center... get the left arm maybe holding the gun by the top rail in one configuration or another.... I may have to get one sometime and find out.

Y'know, with how expensive(moneywise) TAG models are?

It would be nice to start seeing some more options in terms of arms for the model.

I think BobbaFett summed it up with the comment below. I would say the cover is a candidate for 'best cover of the year', it absolutely oozes cool. And although I've only had a quick look through the internals look better as well Things seem better laid out than before.

Oh man, those rasail are definitely going on the list. And that Hac Tao... incredible. Such a subtle pose.

Regarding the Squalo and other TAGs, I had the idea of replacing the hand with one from a gunpla kit. Anyone have an idea if 1:100 or 1:144 scale hands would fit?

That female Rasail has male "hair".

While I agree, I think I'm going to have to print out the rules from online and bind them at Kinkos, as I have a lot of concerns that the book itself may not stand up to repeated handling.... :/

Finally a Hac Tao that surpasses the original MULTI rifle version. I love it!

Going to have to grab it ASAP.

The Hac Tao pose is quite reminiscent of the Kaplans. A good thing. How large, in mm or inches are these gunpla kits? That would be a better way to tell, rather than going by scale.

I think I like this new background more than the old azure one. Less distracting.

Well, if they update the Yu Jing starter I´d might consider starting them... Those HI are sweet.

Welp, looks like a few items in there I'll have to pick up. I'm really liking that nice, basic posing for the Spetznas. They don't all need to be over the top action poses or rage fisting all over the place. He just looks very naturally poses and with some really cool gear.

I still feel that this Hac Tao was needless, but he does look very nice. I thought those funky shoulder rigs were designed for the hacker version though? Even the new rule book itself shows the standard Hac Tao without those.

I take it this will be the end of the previous HMG Hac Tao

He really wasn't, which is why I feel the new one was unwarranted. Maybe CB will salvage the previous version and re-release him with new arms that have the regular MULTI Rifle.

That new one does look awesome though - and makes sense if they are going to re-design the entire concept/line for the miniature. Looks like it has a lot more detail too with all the little fibre-bundles in between the armour plates, although the shots shown so far have been frustratingly small.

Absolutely loads of new artwork in the book, some repeated stuff from the last rulebook and Paradiso, but I'm shocked at how much new stuff there is in there. Quite like how there are obviously a number of different artists' work also, as evident by the different styles; you've got the super-detailed, airbrush-type art, to more abstract and even comic-book style. Pretty sure for the latter I recognise some of the guys work from Dark Horse comics but I will have to check the names.

Unlikely.

The new Hac Tao design is CAD and the body is likely to be used for other HI types as well.

The female rasail looks beefier than the male one :O. That's new for CB.

I honestly don't mind the squalo's hand. Actually I like it even. I like the new 'more open chest area' approach CB is doing.

And I'm glad they redid the hac tao. Really want to use him in N3 since he has executive order now, but I really hate the old HMG which would of put me off from ever getting it.

Some of the new Tohaa look a little on the too large side - I hope this isn't more scale creep!

Two of them are Chaksa, which are somewhat more bulky than the regular Tohaa if you look at the previous releases
