I do not know, though Navarro says they will look good, sadly I am not a fan of warriors, but I will do my best to put one together and get a shot of a warrior.

Besides, I need a warrior built to show off the swords and whips being finished this weekend.

For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Well, the color choices are certainly...interesting.

Actually, they do a solid job of showing off the incredible level of detail crammed into so small a piece. But I'm looking forward to those sword arms!

Ok guys, heres my take on this... the xenomorph heads was builted with the following in mind, they both fit gaunt, stealer and warrior... size wise for the warrior its perfect as is IMO... for gaunts you will need a larger tail to make the xenomorph bigger more bulkier.

Good news is, that the lashes I will upload tomorrow, will give some nice tail options for you guys... I call these Cervical lashes

I really want to whine about the really.... curious... choice of colors for those Xenomorph heads, but they're really amazing. They're just the size I expected to be. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to put it on a Genestealer considering the size.

Also, I'm excited about the lash whip preview tomorrow.

Could you show a preview of the spore pod perchance?

I realize that the paint schemes are a bit "different" but it was a bit difficult to come up with different color schemes for the Xenomorph heads and the Stealer heads. It is different when you are doing a whole unit in one scheme but to come up with say 5 different schemes for 5 similar heads was not easy ha ha. Plus I wanted to try to show people examples of different styles that the heads could be painted in. I must say that the casting quality is really really good. There are barely any mold lines what so ever and if there are they can easily be removed with a hobby knife. You will not realize how much detail there really is until you see them in person either. With the bright yellow head I tried to use contrasting colors to show off most of the detail that you might not see with an unpainted picture.

Thanks guys

I eat paint too.

Tough to paint to be sure. While Aliens look cool on the big screen...an appropriate paint scheme of black/silver just looks dull on the tabletop.

Hi folks heres the cervical lash arms.

I opted to make lots of vertebraes since there are so many uses for them in a converter hands that I could not miss this oportunity.

You may wonder why cervical main arm is so strait and not bended at all and let me try to explain why its sculpted this way.

THe obvious reason is that its easier for casting but theres also a extra purpose... THese are for you to bend the way you want those lashes so instead of having a pre bended whip that looks the same over and over again you have the option to have tons of diferent bended whips in your collection... Also if you want to complement the xenomorph heads on small critters you can cut half of the cervical lash and use it for tail for amore balanced creature.

And if your nuts like me you can use the triangular shape of the the vertebraes of the big arm as a starting point for some TMC devourers...

Hope you like the Big and medium sized cervical arms.

I swear, Chapterhouse is starting to absorb sculptors and painters left right and centre. At this rate, they're going to end up like some kind of collective fan run GW expansion company.

Shhhssshh, who told you...

Personally, I would rather have a bunch of real hobbyist and fans who are dedicated to makeing the game more visually interesting then just be a money grubbing corporation..

Oh wait..

I dont like that lash either. Its to crazy and doesnt fit the current Nid Design.

Oh and i dont criticise the technical aspect, just the design.

Holy mother of god ... that is jaw dropping. Very impressed. How much? I don't play 'nids any more but I may buy some warriors just to paint those arms. I just have a shiva image running through my head (hoping he has used the right god and doesn't now look like a right dumbass)

What is your next project?

edit:
Just had another image of one of those just punching straight through power armor .... blue power armor ... with a U on the shoulder ... with gold edges on shoulder pads - ok .... straight through the chest and out the back of an ultramarine!

FYI Folks, Navarro has said the swords (which are Niddy) will have a hard push this weekend, so probably be done and ready for casting.

Also, we are going to do a set of Niddy whips this week as well. Navarro said it should take next to no time to do some tentacle whips similiar to the style known to the nids.

Just keeping yall informed.
