Thought I'd share my current winter project here - (other than finishing my Ork army) I'm building an Underhive Table for CoD and Necromunda. This is something that's been in the back of my mind for years now but I've had neither the time, money, or patience to do it. Since I'm finally finishing my long-suffering Ork and Eldar armies, as well as wanting to play more Necromunda, I figured I'd also finish an entire board.

First up is my Redemptionist Chapel - this is a converted WHFB Chapel and is currently about 80% finished. It's currently on hold because I'm waiting to order a few bitz from GW-US before they're all dropped.

The (mostly finished) pulpit and stairway

The gibbet (mostly painted) and the boiler room

The completed gun cache

The completed prom drums and lectern (which will go in the pulpit)

The hidden gun cache is really cool.
Is it inside the redemptionist chapel or is it in a different building. I like everything else but that is just the coolest part by far.

Gah!

You're killing me!

Now I have to wait until I get HOME to see the pictures (I'ma fan of underhive tables).

Now, what am I supposed to do to kill time at work!?!?

Gee. Thanks.

Yeah, it's inside the chapel. The roof is separate and lifts off.

Nice looking stuff, A.S.
Looking forward to seeing it completed. I bet it'll look great.

The chapel looks great, amazing how only a few changes (such as the roof have changed the whole feel of the building.

That is exactly what I thought too. I would never have looked at the WHFB chapel and considered using it for necromunda but it looks fantastic with the tweaks you have done.

Well, it's been rather slow-going lately (work, holiday preparations, GW taking a ridiculous amount of time to get me my bitz...) but I've been doing a little work.

Here's the completed Pump/Waterstill (just need to add rivets & bolts)

This is the Generatorium I started (it's nowhere near finished)

Enjoy!

Your table is going to look great when you've finished everything.
The generatorium spires seem a little off to me. But I don't know why. But everything still looks great. Keep it up

This table is going to look frickin' sweet.

Well, here's what I've been working on over Xmas and New Year's. Unfortunately, my Dremel Stylus pooped out over the weekend, so it's taken longer than I like to work on these. Hopefully, I can find my receipt and send it in to get fixed under warranty. I never realized how much I relied on it!

Refinery Tower (not yet complete)

Refinery Tower Rear

AutoWarehouse Tower (I just started this last night and it's nowhere near complete - right now I'm working on the servitor-crane)

Sorry for the delay in posting everyone. January has been a busy month for me and that, coupled with my Dremel still being dead, means it's been slow-going. Anyway, enjoy this small update.

It's from the Pegasus Syberclicks set. Personally, I think those and the hatch pieces are really the only cool thing in it though

Well, I'm more than a little upset. Last weekend I finally broke down and bought the WHFB Watchtower to convert to a Guilder's Tower. Two problems surfaced quickly though. First, the tower is VERY small. It looks a lot bigger in GW's pics but, once I assembled the bottom half, it's VERY small and so I can't do a detailed interior like the Redemptionist Chapel :( Second, I re-read the fluff about Guilders and then noticed that they cannot own property within the hive!!!!! So there's no such thing as a "Guilder's Tower".

Because of this, I have no idea what to make the Watchtower into and I'm soliciting everyone's advice. Any ideas???

Just cause they don't own it doesn't mean they couldn't be squatting there for a prolonged period of time. I'd say build it up. I'm really looking forward to seeing this finished!
