After using a proxy for my Biker Boss for two weeks I decided to break down and start working on a model. This is what I have so far. Let me know what you think...

Awesome, I love the new ork bike models and this is a cool conversion! I'm not sure the bike being tilted on the base works so great, partly because all the components are pointed straight forward (i.e. his head, the claw).

The enemy is within. Don't confuse me with him.

he's not mounted yet, though that is good to note. I think a straight wheelie is in the future.

Doesn't look big enough to be a boss, but looks like he's be a quite nice nob.

I figured someone would say that but look at the biker boss w/ re-sculpted legs next to the normal warboss' body. Also, compare him to my normal boy on a bike.

the tilt is fine - bikes turn by tilting more than turning their handlebars. But a slight turn of the head to match the tilt would be good.

it would be nice to bling up the bike a little more, just to show he's the boss and no one else is allowed a cooler bike!

Just curious if others think that he is the right size. I understand that a Warboss can be bigger, but is this adequate?

well, fluffwise a boss is _likely_ to be bigger than average simply because he has to be a better fighter than all the orks under him - but that doesn't mean he's necessarily bigger, just nastier - size isn't always an advantage.

I like my bosses and nobs to be a little larger than their boyz, but only by a few millimetres. For example you can add small discs of plasticard to the shoulder joints before adding the arms, and do the same at the waist - both will make the ork torso look a bit larger. With more work you can make legs and arms longer the same way, but hiding the joins is more difficult.

I guess what I mean is that, looking at the pictures he is obviously much larger than my normal biker boy, and if you look at him next to the body of my other boss he is similar in size. However, the comment has been made that he is not large enough. I was wondering if anyone else agreed with that assessment.

There's actually not much difference in size of the body, and little to no leg size difference, between a boss and a nob. That's what I found with mine. I used the Biker Nob body, and Warboss head and arms.

The size is fine. Not all warbosses are the size of Ghaz.

according to the fluff an ork grows in size with age and power (which is why ghaz, who has ben around for ages and lead the largest waaagh seen by the imperium, is bloody huge and the nob in the boyz box is smaller than your average nob, giving a distinct difference between one of the warbosses personal bodyguard/drinking cronies (nobs in a nob mob) and one which has done no more than beat up enough members of a mob to allow him to be leader (boyz box)) so in fluff terms, just say your boss is a relatively new player in the game of ork social hierarchies, and hasn't had time to grow to the size of a marine on protien shakes
