Heya Folks,

Found this over on TGN.

===============================
Ultraforge Miniatures have added the first two of their daemon miniatures to their online store. Currently available are:

* Lord of Pestilence $59.00
* Demon wings $19.00
* Plaguedemon $69.00

All prices are in US$ and it appears that the online store isn’t quite taking orders for them just yet.
===============================

Looks like they're already sold out at the moment though >.>.

Nasty as hell, as they should be. Nurgle players rejoice.

Love to see some more shots of the plaguedemon - weapon, back, zoomed out shot in general, with wings / without, etc.

The $US price will encourage overseas sales, too. Good to see them making such awesome products at relatively decent prices (when compared to FW). And Ultraforge quality-control and even repair their products. That's a nice extra.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Fear not, for right beneath the current stock status it states:

This miniature will be available very soon so check back for updates. I am just getting this page started up so thanks for your patience. (LoP)

The wicked Plaguedemon will be available very soon. I am just getting this page ready to go. Check back often, and thanks for your patience. (Plaguedemon)

I can tell you with fair certainty that they have not gone on sale already so this is the first (and only?) batch to be released.

Boss_Salvage: Not sure if you were only interested in the Plaguedemon, but I stumbled across some nice pictures of the old LoP with a scale picture.

As stated in the auction, he's mounted on a 60mm base. The new one is slightly different, though, so take all the pictures with a grain of salt.

I can't wait for some Slaanesh themed models from UltraForge.

Ahhh pics, thanks for the heads-up. The demon is indeed a portly fellow, good to see. In fact, those extra shots make me like the model all the more

Holy CRUD!
How many of those thinge were in stock to begin with?

I just logged on to check it out, and I'm glad I did.
I got the LAST Plaguedemon they had in stock, the SECOND to last pair of wings and there were only 9 of the LoP left.
I ALMOST bought a LoP just because there were so few left, but I decided that the PlagueDemon was enough for now. The individual shipping per item was, I think, what stayed my hand in the end.

Glad I decided to look it up when I did.
Sold out in about a day. Wow!

Weren't these the same guys that brought us that awesome fire demon lord?

Does anyone know when they're finally going to release the different hands for the treewoman?
The knife hands are cool but I like the graspy ones.

From the site:

... and the Wardemon, Pleasuredemon, Treewoman, Treelord and Treewoman's alternate hands are on their way! Because of the setbacks with manufacturing and shipping we have had to delay the new minis for a short while. Thanks again for your patience and please check back often for updates.

Couple of weeks would my guess but who knows?

Yeah, well, I wanted to share the love. I''m glad the review has been so well received.

I know a lot of people on BTown don't "do Dakka" and there are likely a number of Dakkites who don't use BTown, so I cross posted to both. I put it on the "Work in Progress" website, as well.

Those 3 are the only gaming sites I visit.

Another reason I posted it in all 3 was to give Ultraforge a little (deserved) exposure in places where I didn't recall ever seeing them mentioned.

hmm i liek the look fo the sculpts it is however unfortunate that ultraforge's website is buggy and just incomplete... i know its jsut starting up but the catalogue is more or less empty

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

Um, how is it incomplete? Look in the left sidebar and you
should see:

* Giants
* Treewoman
* Demon Lords
* Wings

Those are the things they are selling: giants, a
treewoman, demon lords and wings.
