Well I wanted to do something a little different for my units of bikers and this is it.

let me know what you think....

after careful concideration of parts I started with these as the basics. I figured I would use the track bike since the track can double as its chain.

Pegged the wheels for attachment.

As for a Dakka gun I figured it would have to be mounted somewhere and it came to me. The problem was haveing it probable. so I attached a ammo drum to it and gave it some decor.

Then came attaching the Dakka gun to the Bike

Then from there it was just attacing the wheels and here we go ....

So what do you think????

Twister....

Not only do the rules say your wrong but they also say your a DICK!

that is a very simple and effective conversion, perhaps some mud guards for added flair but otherwise this conversion is one of the most elegant and simple to reproduce ones I have seen in a while

Definitely like this, I can see Orks having much more luck on quad bikes than normal bikes in any kind of desert, snow, or other soft surface type terrain!! Oh, and having a huge front-mounted big shoota is always a cool thing!!! Frees up a hand for a power claw or really big choppa!

That's the Orky way! Are you doing units like that or just one or two per squadron for variety?

nice, I may steal that idea for my biker boss or Wazdakka. The only thing i don't like is the need for 4 ork wheels, but that's kind of unavoidable Might try orkifying some standard wheels...

I agree with others that mudguards (battered, crumpled, and battle-damaged) would be a good idea, both for looks and practicality

Quite nice.
You could make an effective trike like this, as well. Simply put the front tire where it belongs.

The only thing I don't care for is the mounting of the gun. It just doesn't look right there to me. I'm not much help as to where you SHOULD put it... I'm jost not fond of its' current placement... and the gargoyle head looks too Chaos, IMO, for the bike.

Would love to see Mud Guards, as well.

my current plan it to use one of these per biker unit as my nob with power claw.
It would make for a decent WazDakka but I have another idea for him involving the Orc truck engine.
I will try some ideas for mud flaps and post them.

ok I decided to give in with the mud flaps and after a couple days of hems and hahs, I figured out a simple mudflap system for the rear tires. I just dont think I will do one for the front tires. I like the look the way it is.

I took a couple chaos icon pieces from the spiky bits sprue of my chaos defiler I am looting. I scrapped the chaos symbols down and inverted them on the back of the bike so you cannt see what was on them. then after thinking a few seconds I decided to finish off the flaps with a couple bits from the truck sprue. I added a little decore to cover up the seem and its done.

Also I added a little more decore to the bike as well like the spikes on the wheels and the tow hook on the rear and the boss pole.

and a shot of it with the nob on his pride and joy...

over all I am happy with it all

all thats left is a little mold line scaping, barrel holes drilled out and some battle damage on the mudflaps and it will be ready to prime. and paint

Definitely better than the current warbuggy, that's what I would use it for.

Looks great, might end up making my Flybike squad and keep the spare wheels for this sort of thing!
