I've had a dark ages mechwarrior Mad Cat on my desk for many years, and I have in the last year and a half started playing 40k. Sooo I've decided my Sister of Battle army needs a titan of their own. So far there has only been rather minor cosmetic add-ons. My bits for vehicles is low as I just picked up the Sisters a few months back and I am stationed overseas at this time and cheap models are rare.

Smoke stacks to simulate "souped-up" engine from the chapter approved 04 rules, and loud hailer cause I like it.

Needs bewbs...

Its looking good, you should paint the glass at the front to look like stained glass, that would be very Sisters-ey.

Malfred: Terminator Armor has always had room for extra boobage.
Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage.

I did something like this a while ago, my advice is to beef up the arms, they end up looking too thin.

whats a "dark ages"? is this a model or a toy?

I really like some of the battletech mechs, the mad cat is one of the better ones, seems a shame so convert it.

i think the arms need scratch building, those ones just look strange, the way they bend.
could try making arms like the warhond has, mount them under the missile boxes.

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing. Don't have the materials yet. Don't want to hack up the figure since I have no spare parts for it. I'm stating the whole thing as a lesser form of the warhound. One less void shield and such.

I think you'd be better off just building a 'hound using the templates available

haha Like I have the money for that. The closest hobby style store is in Trier and with the dollar to euro ratio getting supplies is far and few between. I did find a torrent or two with the old papertanks models though. I just love the mad cat body style and he was supposed to be for the btech minature game but he has sat on my desk gathering dust for six years.

On a side note I did look at your thread about your titans and am interested in seeing what templates you used.

I do need some plasti-card but mail here takes an extra two-three weeks to arrive since it gets put into the military mail system. I do however get alot of beer/soda boxes so that could work as a beginner scratch built.

both my titans were built using card from beer boxes.

I'm no master scratch builder but I found the warhound easy. pm me your email and i'll send you the templates.

I like it... I never really liked the Madcat as an Imperial Titan (I was planning on Looting mine) but it has definite potential as a Sisters vehicle with the cockpit panels.

It could definitely use beefier arms, or just removing the arms entirely and attaching the main weapons directly to the shoulder mount.

I hate to tell your Heavy Flamers bits are Multimelta bits.

Doh. suppose that'll have to come off then. haha stating it with 2 Plasma Cannons, twin-linked autocannon's and the two missile pods as a single whirlwind.

Y'know I've got the exact same Madcat on my desk as we speak. I've been wanting to convert it into something that looks like it could be used by the Tau. I really like what your doing with this tho.

are these things particularly rare? I'd like one just to paint up as a mad cat.

What scale is it? I know Armorcast do (or did) a 28mm scale madcat.

I would imagine they are now. when I bought mine there was dozens at the gaming store I played L5R at. They had a big Mechwarrior minature crowd there so I had to be quick to grab one up.

Latest changes. Trying to keep the overall position of the guns and still loose alot of the flimsy looking ness of the arms.

Ya I got mine at a GameStop in the mall about 5 or 6 years ago. They had a few other mechs too but I've never been able to find em since.
