Sneaky Sniper Drone

Hello All!
One of our member asked me to post how I painted the Tau Emperial Mech Army. So that is what I am doing!
Basically I did the painting as seen
Step 1:
Base Paint an Iron Flat Black base coat
Step 2:
All Metalic spot like guns and metal spots on crisses I used Vallejo Tin . I just did a simple drybrush
Step 3:
Main Color was V. Ghost Grey. Not a tradition coat but it cover the black very well. This also is a great off white to take the white line work of the next color. Then did all the line work in pure white. Gave me the look I was looking for. For the black parts I ded the line work in Shadow grey. Works well.
Step 4.
Whent back in with a black .05 mm pen and drew all the lines too clean up and block all the paint work
Step 5:
Then Paints gun tips red and then other small detailed work.
Step 6: Flocked and sprayed hairspray to seal. I fiend the worst hairspray to use. It seals and also does nothing to the color and gives a nice sceen. Some time sealers cause paint to change color.
Well brief but its how i did it

Hm... the pics are out of focus. I honestly can't tell how well these minis are painted.
Do you think you could get some better photos?

These were the best quality my wifes camera could get. Our camera is more for longer distance pictures, not detail work. Sorry. But you can still get the point of the painting. As the first picture is really not out of focus, just doesn't show the detail as well. As it was, these were the 4th sets of pictures we had to take.

Yeah hate to pile on, but none of those are in focus, not even the first one.
I think i like where you are going with the colour scheme though, but would have to see some better pics to know for sure.

I am sorry for the second post. I might have been a little rude. I think I got better photos now. Please forgive me.
This army was originally built to be mech inf for my Tau Empire Army, but because of 5th addiction I had to change it to Farsight Army. I have added my conversion for farsight. I think all old Tau player will know where I got the idea from.
This army is not painted to be a Storm Trooper army. Yes it does look like one. It is actually painted to represent Sept World Bork'an. The only problem is that it is like Storm Trooper and also the other part of it, my old Gun line has a Etheral and the whole army is in cerimonial army of crimson.. *winks*.. Okay its a Imperial Army for the true Imperial Leadership

The photo quality may not be the greatest but I like your color scheme. It reminds me of my old Transformers for whatever reason.
What's going on with the bases there....is it supposed to be snow?

yes it is ... The color scheme of the sept world of Bokr'an is winter color scheme. So no I am not using Star wars color scheme.. well not exactly.
Hides the Black armored etheral with twin green sabers... and the red armored gun line.. No Star Wars at all!
The Snow is because there all magnets and the tournement board is a snow scene with all flying sense its a mech tau army. if you want I can get photos of the board also

The first set of pictures looked in focus but blurred due to movement of the camera. This is caused by low light. The two ways to fix it are to increase the amount of available light, or to use a tripod or other something to keep the camera steady.

Don't forget to hide the drones converted to look like that Imperial spy droid.
Sure, I'll take a look at the board if you feel like showing it. I've always liked the snow tables.
