That is one of the absolute best conversions and paintjobs I've ever seen, though the bases could definetly use something more to them.

How long did this take you? And please tell me that you didn't hand-paint the banner. I can't even imagine doing that.

Also, do you think you could get some solo pics up? I'm having a hard time seeing some details in this format (especially the Emperor's face). And maybe a back shot of the big man?

Thanks for the compliments, although I should add this was an update. I posted this squad previously with more details of its origins, albeit in poor lighting. The Custodes were sculpted by my good friend Grytz and I painted them up. Thanks again.

Aha! Good to see you finally got these guys up and about. Very, very nice work on the Emperor, finally a version of him which does the artwork justice.

One thing though... no top-piece for the banner? You should be able to drill through the banner crossbar to mount something on top. And the sides as well, you need to clean the ends of the crossbar, I didn't measure them when I constructed the banner >_<.

Otherwise, I can't find any way of faulting the miniatures, they should look absolutely stunning on the battlefield
