so i felt like painting tonight and try some camo..
the camo is gretchin green, dheneb stone washed with ogryn flesh, andcalthan brown , whilst the skin is based orkhide shade and highlighted with snot green.
the red are mechrite red and highlighted with mechrite red and macarius solar orange.

the blades are boltgun metal and mithril silver washed with badab black.

you can say he had a spear that flew into his eye socket into his skull.

They couldnt yank the spear out so they cut it off at the socket area D:

I like the effect of the shainsword parry on his sword - cool.

I think you should either make his eyes a solid colour such as red or give him some pupils however - I think he looks unfinished with plain white eyes.

You could give him pale/pastel pupils if you want the rhumy/cataract type white look.

The metal seems a bit monotone. I would suggest picking up some tinbitz to give it a little variety. Looks great regardless!

The camo is excellent. I don't care for the eyes though. Overall, he looks very nice. He could use a little bit of cleaning up, but other then that, I like what I see.

He can chill with my Kommandos any time.

I'd put a little shadow or black line on the flap of the red pouch on his leg. At the moment it's all the same color and looks a bit like he's strapped a clay Easter Island head to his thigh for some reason.

Please post his mates when you get them finished.

Nice work.. Now, go back and touch up the fingers that have silver on them. And his underarms and right hand/arm, that have silver on them too. Basically go back and touch up the areas that you "goofed" on.

You know, I wouldn't have thought the red webbing would have worked, but that looks pretty sweet. If I decide to do a second mob of Kommandos, I'm totally ripping that off gerilla.

i thaught that the paint scheme would be too "hidden" if the red were't there so i tried it in the first fig and it worked so my commandos will be called the " bloody strapboyz"

How did you do the camo, it looks really good

the camo is based on dheneb stone on all the "fabric" and then washed with ogryn flesh.
on that you just draw your brush in stripes with gretchin green and calthan brown.
