I am starting this to hopefully keep myself motivated and progress through the rather large collection of unpainted/unbuilt 40k stuff I have. C&C welcome and please help keep me motivated!!!

I also have loads of other test schemes that i will hopefully be getting posted here soon, just have to figure out how to get the images less grainy. Hopefully I will be able to decide on one army to focus on for a while too . More coming soon!!!

Here is a CSM squad and a Termi lord, I am building a chaos renegade force that will eventually be headed by Huron Black Heart, these guys are from the Mantis chapter, its in the back story in the codex I think. Since I couldn't find any representation of them this is my interpretation. No guns yet because they are on temp sprues to be painted.

I like that idea too as it looks like the young orks (well grotz) skin is lighter then will get darker as they get older

Ok, finally kind of an update and mind you I am still trying to figure out the camera and lighting thing. Here is a Tankbusta from my squad and a couple of bomb sguigs. I have a ton of other stuff in various stages and hopefully will be getting some more pics up soon.

That's some pretty good stuff. I like the snipers best. My one word of advice though: washes. I've said it before and I'll say it again, but washes makes everything look better.

I agree with the washes they are one of my favorite things, unfortunatly you cant see them in these pics because the light was too bright.
