My thoughts exactly. Not only orcy but it looks like a show/display piece rather than a scenic base. I would understand maybe dead ork bit on the base but that's just a straight up ork glyph.

I would much rather have the resin version to buy!
It looks like a much better model detail wise....

Not just Bartertown it is also in our Swap Shop, ebay cancelled his auction someone must be angry. I can't believe he wants people to secretly bid for it via pm/email talk about shady!

a few made thier way onto ebay, something has been said or done though, as not only waere auctions cancelled, but someones profile was deleted.

Are we sure those pics aren't just a recast of the resin version? It's not that hard to make fakes.

Where would a person get the resin demo model to be able to cast it? It is not unknown for people to get a model a month or two early, so they could have just gotten a hold of a metal one to cast from!

They were on ebay.
They were cancelled.
At least one person has tried to sell it "auction style" on BTown and we pulled his ad.
Since they aren't even in pre-release yet, it was suspicious enough for us to prefer to cover our tushies.

And yet there are 'unreleased' figures on eBay all the time. Unreleased being studio only models and test pieces. Where do those come from? They've not gone through shops obviously, are people selling those thieves too?

As people seem to keep wanting to defame me for putting an Unreleased mini out, I thought I would throw up some more pics.





If I do apologise for anything, it's my poor photo taking skills. But by the way, what is so shady with "PM me with offers"...like that's not in every auction on Dakka with a worthwhile item. I would bet a pretty penny if you did a search for "PM me with offers" you'd fine many more then mine

I for one thank you for the pictures. I've been thinking about starting up a marine army and space wolves is high on my list. Well see if I can hold onto my job long enough for them to come out though, dang economy.

Do most of you people realize that even if GW did know about this they probably wouldn't care? The amount of money to bring charges against this guy and go to court wouldn't even be worth it. If someone stole something like this from wal-mart they wouldn't even press charges.

Principle? you think GW cares about principles? You think it's the principle of things to worry only about the sales of AoBR and rate your employees on thos sales? Or to release a new version of rules every 4-5 years without first ironing out the rules from the previous edition?

I was raised with these principles and morals but have since rejected them as worthless baggage, and the majority of the world has since rejected them as well. Cynical I know but it's a dog eat dog world.

Do you know where everything you purchased comes from? Yes, you know that the clothes you buy come from wal-mart, and they legally own them. But did you know they come from the labor of chinese people working for $.25 and hour? Do you think about that? Cause i do, and i don't care.

And he hasn't been avoiding those questions he told us where he got it from. He just doesn't want to name names which I don't think he should.

Yes, obviously because it's been pulled by ebay this must be stolen. It's so ridiculous.

I heard that someone at the foundry had their car stolen for this miniature and then there a new mould was made from the miniature and the original got melted down and made into a blade that was used to stab babies and then this model is just made from condensed baby remains cast in the mould that have now been painted silver. Oh and when the car was stolen they hit a nun when getting away, I'm co-owner of dakka so it must all be true because of my connections.

If only Ross Kemp and Ultimate Force had been there... /sniff.... all this pain, this suffering, might have been averted... Unfortunately he was modelling for the sculpts for the next decade of angry shouting bald sm sergeants...
