Has anyone ever tried to create a series of games that incorporate several GW games - ie epic, 40k, BFG etc?

So that you could have a ship based space battle in BFG, the outcome of which would determine the forces able to deploy planetside for the 40k battle to take down the planetary defences to allow the main force to land for the epic game (even maybe incorporating Space Hulk rules for ship boarding or storming an underground bunker).

I've considered the possibility over the years, perhaps using flow charts of 'If successful, the player may field an additional 250pts in the next battle' or 'Jonas Mephet, space pirate, will be available to the first unit to reach the centre of the map and open his cell door (use vindicare assassin ruleset).

Has anyone used or seen something like that before?

Played in a BFG/40k campaign a few years ago. Rules got lost in a computer switch. Lots of fun and well thought out. Actually the BFG section of the campaign was very detailed and impacted the forces and points values available for the ground battles.

I'm sure someone has done a BFG/Epic/40K system

Once played a game set up by a few friends where an Inquisitor game was played paralel to a game of 40k. Fluff was centred around a group of cultists who had managed to summon deamons to the planet. 40k game was about defending the tide of chaos and the inquisitor game was taking down the cult. They fixed it cleverly so different combinations of vicitory meant different things, with the inquisitor game being more important to the imperium players and the 40k game more important to chaos players.

Getting the games to combine works quite easily.

BUT, getting players with the same race, or even teams with the same in all three....thats the hard part!
