I was wondering if anybody could provide me with images of a desert terrain, any ideas as to what I should add into a battlefield, or some how-to's. Any help would be much appreciated.

I made these with cork and a hot glue gun. Just change the color of the paint to tan or sand color and you have some decent buildings for a desert environ.

For the wood flooring, a big bag of squared-end craftsticks was $2 something at my local wal-marts craft section. Use a wash for weathering: I suggest brown but I had to use black for lack of brown...

Check the pet stores for terrain too. If you've got more money than I do, you could by all kinds of stuff. Personally though, I just wait for stuff to go on sale, especially clearance. Just picked up some desert rock features that normally cost $20+ for $5-8 each, as well as a couple of bonsai/bamboo fish tank sets that go for $30 for $10 each. Still costs more than doing it yourself, but it's much easier and it looks cool.

That's all some nice terrain, it gave me some good ideas. My friend and I made some nice stuff, which I can't show to you because I lack a camera. Does anybody have any other suggestions or pictures of what they've made?
