Greetings everyone. I would like you to see my "cheap" stompa. I'm still working on the final painting, but i wanted to show you what I've got so far. I purchased the body and the two feet on ebay for a total $17.00...... everything and I mean everything else on the stompa I had laying around my gaming garage. I bought the reaver powerfist about 18 months ago for a titan... never used it. It fit perfectly on the stompa. Let me know what you think. Any ideas. This walking monstrosity has already seen several battles and has crushed many with his looted fist!!!! (Note the blood stains) WHAAAAAAGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the profile on a power fist that big?

Nice stompa. Could stand to have a few more rivets though.

In the Apocalypse rule book it just states it is a Titan Close Combat Weapon. Just like the chainfist or chainsword it comes with... it just counts a destroyer hit with the number of attacks the stompa has.

thats an armorcast reaver fist, personally I reckon it would look better on a titan - so send it to me!!!

Oh the fist needs a few more orky touches , plates , glyphs , check patterns and rivets , otherwise , why not.

This behemoth isn't as scary as it sounds. Capt. Lysander, TDA Chaplain, and 5 TH/SS termies walked on and whooped up on it. It was wiped out in one turn of close combat and my next shooting phase. It was so stunned by the smashing thunderhammers, it didn't do diddly the next round. Plus, the 20 boyz inside couldn't get out when this monstrosity went up in flames. Go Imperial Fists!

Its alot of fun to fight, even if it turns my Baneblade into a pile of junk sometimes! hehehe!

Imperial Fists have arrived I see. Well I have to admit it was tore up by 10 thunderhammers, but he has done some damage... remember the 90+ (legal) shots from the supagattler. That was hilarious... of course the game before that i got like what 12?

Nice start- way to use scrap materials, and using the Rever powerfist is hilarious. Might I suggest that you paint up some smashed Imperial Fist bitz to stick to the PF?

As for the paintjob- a few washes to dirty this thing up might help it look less flat.

Banana? That is a portion of a toy pirate hook of my sons..... i had to cut it to make it fit.... although after you mentioned that... it does look like a banana.

Well... here are a few more views from different angles. Once again I used a lot of junk that was laying around my garage/40k scrap yard. Anyhow hope you can see it better. I wanted to reposition the Power Fist... but it wouldn't mount well in any other angle.

I love the look of the looted fist, Maybe figure out a way to make it more orky though, looks a little to round right now.

er saints that IS a gw stompa(or rather the body and feet) with a new head a p-fist and some different rokkits

I like the Stompa and Titan power fist is awesome, just one thing though.........Im not a big fan of the fists postitioning. I looks out of place, Id say either tilt it down so the fingers face the ground or build the shoulder like the titan does and mount it like that.

Thanks for the idea.... i tried to position the arm a little different..... i will have to do some major mods to get it to work. Right now it is tied in pretty good, but I could do some modifications to adjust it lower, but good idea.

oh and the titles abit wrong its not exactly cheap as the reaver fist+postage is over the price of a normal stompa

well for me it was cheap... i got the reaver power fist for under $30 with shipping making the total of the entire stompa under $50. I haven't checked the price lately on the power fist so it probably is more now.

I think you're thinking FW, this was from an Armorcast.

A looted titan fist? Awesome.
The whole thing is excellent.

Now if only Forgeworld would produce their own Gargants as well. :(
