So i was thinking, wasnt Valkyrie supposed to be transport ships too? But from the look of it
it doesnt seem to have any capabilities to land vertically ( it would be convenient no? )

So i thought wouldnt this be what the Valkyrie should have been?
( Or vendetta )

There's little mini turbines there to assist in VTOL, if I had to guess.

Is that the gunship from Patlabor by any chance? Personally though, I'd say that'd pass as more of a Vulture than Valkyrie...

I agree, it would make an excellent Vulture. But it's hard to judge the scale of the model without a 28mm mini mext to it. If it's a huge model then it could be used as a Valkyrie, but I'd keep it as a gunship. The long gatling gun would be a perfect proxy for the punisher gatling cannons they are going to get in the new codex.

I don't think it's exactly Imperial design (as previously stated due to the curves), but if all the vultures/valks in your army were made from this range of model then they wouldn't look out of place. They'd only look odd by comparison if you had them in the same army as GW vultures/valks.

Where do you keep finding these amazing models?

The world needs wannabes.

Not from Ghost in the Shell, but this kit is: Jigabachi

I wish there was a kit for the sniper helicopter from the first movie:

i voted no simply because there's no place to put 12 embarked guardsmen unless you model extra sleeping bags on top of the wings, lol. it'd make a great forgeworld vulture, though!

I had thought about converting the patlabor model to be used as a vulture, I like the look and style of it, but I think its in 1\72 scale and it realy wouldn't translate well. If I could find one in 1\48 or 1\35 I would do it.

The only version of that I can find is 1/72nd scale, and is $49.99 with Entertainment Earth having just one of them left.

Which for something that'll end up being out of scale, but the same size as a Valkyrie is meh.

The valk doesn't have have vectored engines. If you don't know why look at the model.

And those pathetic little things on the wing tips could NOT lift something as massive as the valk. I've always thought thte valk should be more like a v-22 Osprey, but with jet engines instead of turboprops.

This is why the imperium invented suspensors, so they could get away with having aircraft who's wings have the same airfoil shape as a 2x4..

Thiiis is whiiiiining! Oooo, this mini is too expeennsive! I'm' going brrookee! Can't you make it cheaper? Oh, it's resin and not metal anymore! Why didn't you take it off the sprue first? That's gonna leave a pour spout, and the FLGS is so far away, WHY DO I HAVE TO SUPPORT IIIIIIIT?! </Rairty>

F-16 is not VTOL, you're probably thinking of the Harrier.

Also on the subject of the Harrier they also have relatively small vector nozzles and maneouvering thrusters at the wing-tips so its not toooooo outlandish. Mix in some super duper sci fi suspensor tech and away you go

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.
