Just finished these guys off, and thought I should share for those who haven't seen the WIP thread...

These were a commission job, intended for use as Terminator stand-ins in an all-scout army.

On the heavy weapon model, the heavy weapons and storm bolter are magnetised, so that they can be swapped.

Twin cutting torches count as the Sergeant's powersword.

To see how they were built, check out the WIP thread under the couch or my all-mashed-in-together thread in the Dakka P&M Blog board: What's on Insaniak's Workbench...

That's all kinds of awesome.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

These came out great. I was watching them in the wip but I am glad they got their own post. Great idea excellently executed.

The suits themselves look great, but the weapons look like they've just been glued on with no real thought as to the design. Anyway to incorporate them into an arm without losing the two clawed look?

I fail to see the practical application for these guys, but I'm very impressed with your work.

Built in power fields, obviously

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Hey Ive been wondering what happened to those. Nice job

Besides why would someone have to justify anything. Those are awesome and the size of a terminator. Id just say stop trying to rain on the parade

I actually spent quite a bit of time going over different options with the buyer. This was what he liked the most, so it's what we went with.

Incorporating them into the arm just made the arms too bulky.

That would be the built-in energy field, originally used to protect the wearer from reactor wash.

Or something.

Sorry, please don't take it the wrong way, I think the suit itself looks awesome, that was just my critique on the model as a whole.

No problem. Getting feedback is exactly the reason for posting them.
