So has anybody heard any updates on Daemonhunter plastics? With the price hike rumors, I desparately need plastics to make my dreams of a DH army realistic.

I seriously doubt they would release plastic Grey Knights before they release the Codex. You are waiting until next year.

A certain pieman on Warseer does not truly deny nor positively confirm plastic GK. Other topics he did not recently truly deny are the possibility of GK getting more normal SM gear like Jump Packs and that Phil Kelly might be doing the book now because "They had to give him something to do now he has finished Space Wolves." No comments have been made/hinted at as to whether it will be GK only or will include other Inquisitional forces

Don't forget that forge world has been making lots of GK tanks and there is talk of resin power armor and terminator armor.
Paying $50 bucks for a 10 man squad of power armor or a 5 man squad of metal termies suck.

Hence why my favorite army isn't over 2000 points. I have heard unsubstanitated rumors of plastic GK but highly doubt that they will come out before their codex.

Trading and Ebay, my friend, trading and Ebay.
I just traded off an unused BFG Tyranid fleet for about $120 worth of Grey Knights, including a Land Raider. And I bought those ships years ago, so I come out with a pure win.

Games Workshop have repeatedly stated that they would not be combining them. Jervis specifically stated last year that they would be rolling `Inquisition' back and returning the focus to Grey Knights and Sisters, each in their own books. We also know Phil Kelly is doing Grey Knights and Andy Hoare Sisters.

Which convinces me we need to keep pushing GW on this. I love my funk Inquisition squads and want more of them. Sisters and GKs bore me.

I think giving GK power armor made them too generic. Give them all the other bells and whistles marines have and they lose their uniqueness. If anything GW needs to make the GK even more unique. If Phil Kelly is doing them I believe that's what he'll attempt, he generally does a good job of expanding on and capturing the spirit of an army.
Kid_kyoto I completely agree. Without those fun units the Inquisition might as well have just become a new HQ option for IG.

There was little `Inquisition' to begin with. Inquisitors (duh), `Inquisitorial Storm Troopers' who are now representable by IG Veteran Squads and Daemonhosts. We then have Codex: Assassins, Codex: Ecclesiarchy and Codex: Grey Knights left. They really should have just moved Inquisitors, Daemonhosts and Assassins over to Codex: Imperial Guard, so those who play Inquisition would not be hamstrung.

If they are gonna do away with inquisitors and focus on GK and SoB, I am gonna miss my inquisitor and his retinue... luckily they probably won't get around to this for a year or two, so I'd better make use of them now!
I think they should make a dedicated Inquisition 'dex and include all three ordos if they are going to remove them from GK and SoB. Also, the allies idea needs to remain to give them enough options.

It should be just one big Knights/Sisters/Inquisitors/Malleus book in one, with the ability to take allies from each list, or pilfer from the Guard.

How many people play Grey Knights and Sisters and Inquisition and Guard at the same time, outside of Apocalypse. There is not much sense in throwing them in together into one big book. Grey Knights will probably become yet another variant Marine chapter, Hopefully the Sisters will retain the Ecclesiarchal units, but who knows what will become of them. Inquisition, however, is still available through the new Guard Codex:
Company Commander -> Inquisitor
Astropath -> Mystic
Bodyguard -> Acolyte
Medic -> Chirurgeon
Veteran -> Warrior
Veterans with Grenadiers and Shotguns -> Inquisitorial Storm Troopers
Guardsman Marbo -> Assassin
Primaris Psyker/Psichic Battle Squad -> Daemonhosts
What's more, you can access Imperial Guard units without special rules!

I ain't buying it. There is just enough of a following for Knights/Sisters/Inquisitors that they won't just mesh them back into the SM and IG folds. Inquisitors are the most flavorful forces of the Imperium, IMO, so I hate to think that they will just disappear.

They can already take Shotguns for free to represent Arbites. Some people do, but I cannot understand why.
