Just trying to get some feed back on my work in progress. I d really wanted to make a Ragnarok Tank cause you just dont see them, but I wanted it to be a simple conversion so if I liked it I could make alot fo them simply. So here it as any feed back would be great guys.

Turret is too big. It needs to be shortened a little (height, not length). With the double-wide tracks and the length of the hull, the tank looks way to squat with that turret. I'll bet if you shaved off the bottom of the turret to just under the mantlet (maybe an 1/8" below it) it would really help.

i like the idea a lot! Looks just as cumbersome as the KV2 with that turret. im looknig forward to seeing a paint job down on it. Also im guessing that turret is 1/48 scale? if it is then im really surprised it looks so good. Just have to work a russ commanders hatch onto it and it'll be great.

Realy love this one!
I don't like russian tanks, wit one exception, the KV2.
It just looks so cool and distinctive with its turret!

Here are some more pics. like i sai i am trying to keep it simple incase i want to mass produce. i still havent decided on a cannon yet and i sanded down some of the turret to bring it lower. Please leave comments and feedback so i canwork on improving it.

That must be the large turret version of the KV2 as opposed to the regular KV2. For those who think it is too tall, you could easily replace it with the standard KV2 or KV1 turret and get the effect you are looking for.

The Ragnarok tank was made for/by krieg during its civil war, and it was built to compete with the leman russ through numbers. The turret is supposed to be that tall and 'goofy' if you like. Although op I would try placing the turret further back. great work I am going to make one myself.

I'm not a fan of the KV-2, though this looks good.

Ah man, but it does make me sad to see all those wheels and bogeys....what was GW thinking in discontinuing those?
